About this villa rental
Situated in North Side, this attractive villa for $328 per night is a great choice for your next break. Located directly on the sparkling Caribbean Sea, our home is located in quintessential North Side, Grand Cayman. Our property was purchased in late 2019 and was completely renovated in 2020 including all new beds and linen. Our Villa has breathtaking panoramic Caribbean Sea with beach front views from both the ground floor living area, as well as from the expansive master bedroom and adjoining balcony. Within literally just a few steps from the double sliding doors you will find yourself on the soft sandy beach with miles of crystal clear waters to explore teeming with healthy shallow coral reefs and an abundance of underwater marine life. There is a private courtyard and side entry door, as well as outside dining on your oceanfront patio. Our Villa can comfortably accommodate 6 people. Grand Cayman is an upscale, tax free, stable and safe island with the friendliest residents in the Caribbean. There is an excellent choice of casual oceanfront restaurants within 2 - 10 minutes from the villa. These include Rum Point, the Kaibo Beach Bar, Over The Edge and Tukka. For scuba divers, Grand Cayman offers world class wall and reef dives with several beach entry dives in the area. There are an abundance of local dive operators should you wish to explore locations beyond shore dives. Other activities include touring the Stingray City, Starfish Point, Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Gardens, hiking and bird watching on the Mastic Trail, the Blowholes, Underwater Submarine tours, the Turtle Farm, Hell, and Duty Free shopping in George Town. We have also placed two yoga matts in the Master Bedroom for your use.

Absolutely beautiful property! On the Northside it is nice and quiet and having the beach to yourself is wonderful. The villa is equipped with everything you may need except food, LOL. The snorkeling directly in front of the Villa is wonderful - we snorkeled every day we were able to. We did several activities this week including renting a Catamaran, going to the Turtle center, Botanical Gardens and other things. The Over the Edge restaurant just down the road has wonderful food and having a small grocery store close by was so convenient.
When we traveled to Rum Point we noticed how the villa's got closer and closer to each other. During our stay we only saw people staying in the other 5 Villa's.
There is no way to explain how beautiful the area was - we would have loved a second week to keep enjoying the beautiful snorkeling.
Only negative is the mosquitos - they were plentiful but nothing bug spray didn't fix.
We had one issue come up and the owner responded immediately and kept me informed as to the progress of getting it fixed. Very helpful - Frank guided us to the location and time for snorkeling and seeing some fantastic fish sightings.

This is the perfect place for a family who likes to snorkel. The house is so clean and well stocked. The beach is the perfect combination of shade and sun. We had such a great time in the fabulous home!

We had a beautiful time here! The house had everything we needed and then some: multiple beach towels, hats, books/magazines, games, sand toys, snorkel gear, hangers in the closets, hair dryers, first aid kit. Having a private, peaceful beach a few steps out the door was amazing. We saw iguanas and crabs and chickens regularly, which we loved. We visited Chisolm’s often to get everything we needed to cook & snack at home. Food on the island is very expensive so we tried to only eat out once a day. And the kitchen at the house had everything we needed to make cooking at home convenient. We used the snorkel gear and kayaks daily. However, my son stepped on a few urchins so make sure to bring water shoes with hard bottoms. The drive from the house to the more populated areas can take an hour, so we planned a day or 2 where we drove in and spent the whole day before driving back. But being able to enjoy the touristy things and then retreat back to our peaceful paradise was perfect. The only thing we were missing was a beach umbrella that we could put in the sand down by the water while we were hanging out. The back porch has shade and isn’t far from the water but I prefer to sit right on the shore but the sun was so relentless I couldn’t stay down there for long periods of time without shade. However that was just my personal preference and did not take away from our stay at all. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone going to Grand Cayman!!

A nice, well-equipped villa right on a pretty beach in a quieter section of Grand Cayman. Away from the bustle (and traffic) of George Town, yet only about 45 minutes away. Quite close to Rum Point, the Crystal Caves and Starfish Point. On calm days, the snorkeling was surprisingly good on the reef 50-100 feet off the shore in back of the villa. The villa was nice and clean with beautiful beach views and a full kitchen, two full bathrooms, washer/dryer, sand toys and two kayaks with life jackets. The owner responded quickly to communications and their guide to the villa explained everything well. We had a great week on the island!

Beautiful outlook directly into the ocean. Very well equipped with all kitchen utensils and some food items. Lots of beach toys for the kids. Convenient for Rum point and starfish cove. Kaibo bar was lovely and the bioluminescent tours depart from Kaibo dock. Quite a drive to 7 mile beach but worth it for the tranquility the property offers, we will definitely stay again.

Our stay was incredible. From the second we walked in the door, we noticed the thought that went into making the house as homey and comfortable as possible. There were fresh flowers on the table next to a bottle of wine. There were plenty of beach towels, toys, bags to borrow, hats to wear, and games to play. The fridge was stocked with condiments and the cabinets had the pantry items that one might need a little of when cooking. The outside was perfect for our family of 5, mom, dad, 4year old, 7 year old and nana. The kids loved playing in the sand right outside the slider and we were able to keep an eye on them away from the water. We had some visits from the resident chicken we named, Sandy and a few lizards. The sea glass hunt was fruitful as well as the rock and coral supply. We enjoyed being close to starfish point and the crystal caves and the ease of choosing when to head to the “city”. There were many little things that made a big difference in our enjoyment of the property but what made the biggest difference was the comfortable beds. It’s always a gamble at rentals but we all slept soundly. Do not hesitate to rent this house. We were extremely pleased. Thanks you!

This place was incredible. Everything was so clean and neat. The location was ideal as we enjoy being away from the crowds! Super relaxing but still fairly close to grocery and restaurants. I would highly recommend and would stay here again on our next trip back to Grand Cayman.

Amazing VRBO, just steps from the beach as indicated! A great spot to relax. It is on the quiet side of the island. Very clean which was our main criteria after finding one "on the beach". They also provide most kitchen items if you want to cook/grill. The only thing we would have changed was to have less sea grass and more sand as you go out in the water but realize this is out of the host control and maybe that is not always there. Would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful property and view! We went to Cayman to celebrate our oldest's college graduation; especially after a few years of little to no travel due to Covid, we wanted to get away for a special time. Azure Breeze and the North Side were perfect for us! Away from the hustle and bustle of George Town with the cruise ships but within a quick drive to everything we wanted to do, Azure Breeze provided us with the relaxation we craved and access to fun activities that we added in to our trip.
The property itself is even better than you see in the photos - it was incredibly clean with all of the household items (and more than we expected!) you need for a comfortable stay. The owners are also incredibly responsive - I never had to wait more than 30 minutes (if that) for a response to any questions I had regarding our trip. We had no problems during our stay, but I have to believe that they would have responded just as promptly to concerns as they did to questions.
Highly recommend this property! We had a wonderful time.

The home was as beautiful as the pictures. It was nice to have some of the basic necessities provided. We were a little put off by the amount of sea grass, not what I expected but that’s my issue. We enjoyed the island and the house was all we could ask for.

The owners have done a wonderful job of making their property feel like home to renters. As a family that likes to cook and be in the ocean, we found all of the kitchen tools and beach accessories we were hoping for. I highly recommend snorkeling at the house and finding time to enjoy the private, quiet beach.

This house was perfect for my husband and I, my adult daughter and her boyfriend and my adult son. Very clean, very appreciative to have beach towels, air conditioning and two bathrooms. All the kitchen supplies necessary, my daughter struggled with the local menus so being able to make Mac and cheese saved the day. The view is awesome, the beach is not like SMB, it’s better! Endless Shells and treasures to pick. The reef in front of the house is great snorkeling and shallow and about a 50 yard swim. The kayaks were a blast too! The location is on the quiet side of the island, plan extra time to get to the west side of the island if you have a tour planned. It took us 2 1/2 hours to get to the yacht club, about 20 miles, We were 45 minutes late for our fishing trip. Plan ahead rush hour is nuts. I highly recommend azure breeze villas, it was home away from home-perfect! Thank you, thank you!!

We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay in the North Side. The place was immaculate - I have never stayed in a rental that was so clean upon arrival, and that's no easy feat next to the beach. It was a great base for everything we wanted to do and we didn't have to return to the hustle and bustle of George Town unless we wanted to.
Things we did:
-Bioluminescent kayak from Rum Point (a little over 10 min. away)
-Stingray City tour from Kaibo (about the same distance, also Kaibo restaurants have longer hours than current websites imply - reserve the Tues. BBQ online)
-Crystal Caverns (only 2 min. away!)
-Kayak and snorkel right off the beach of the rental to check out the coral reef
Wider selection of groceries was a bit of a drive, but Chisholm's was very convenient and we could get what we needed on a Sunday.
We were graced with calm, perfect snorkeling/kayak days and took advantage of both amenities. The sand right outside the door and down to the beach is perfect, but you will definitely want water shoes for the sea grass/rocks to actually dip your toes. Convenience to coral reef cannot be beat. On a windy day, we drove back over to 7 Mile for smooth sand and fewer waves.
We loved waking up every morning in paradise. We would definitely go back.

The home was right on the water (as advertised!), with stunning views, in a more quiet part of the island, on the north side. The beds were very comfortable, and the two twins room was kindly converted to a king bed upon request. There were kayaks, beach towels, snorkel equipment, etc. Everything that we needed. And Robert was very responsive when we had questions. An excellent host. We would definitely return to this home.

The house was even better than I imagined. Everything was clean and and comfortable with gorgeous views from the living room/kitchen and upstairs master bedroom. We loved hanging out on the lounge chairs just steps away from the water. The owner even left us a nice bottle of wine and fresh flowers on the table. Location was great - just down the road from Chisolm’s market, which had everything we needed, and about 10-minute drive from Rum Point. It was exactly the relaxing, quiet vacation we hoped for. We’ll be back!

This was our first time to Grand Cayman and from doing research I saw there were 2 main options. Stay at a resort, or stay at an independent property. The resorts, especially at the 7 Mile Beach are very busy and full of tourists. Not our style, so we opted to feel more like island residents. It was perfect. The unit was beautiful, spacious and centrally located to everything you might want to do. Rum Point and Starfish Beach are just minutes down the road. The East End is also just a few minutes away and many times we didn't even pass another car when driving there. If you want to go to sleep and wake up with the ocean in your front yard this is the place. Every amenity was already there including beach towels, snorkeling gear, coolers and anything you might need. Just show up with your clothes and begin having fun immediately. We snorkeled and kayaked right in front of the unit and much of the time just stayed right there and enjoyed relaxing with the beach and the waves. No stress and just great Island vibes. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic house with all the amenities you need (kayaks, snorkeling gear, kitchen items, beach towels, cooler, laundry, dishwasher, AC, plenty of sand toys for the kids, etc.). Very clean and quiet. Shade right in front of the house in the sand is great for the kids to play. Owners responded within an hour of emailing them and always provided excellent information. Highly recommended!

We flew in the day after New Years for a family vacation. The property is on the north side of the island away from all the tourists. If you are looking for a quite vacation with your own private beach steps from your back door this is the perfect property. The property was clean and very well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

The home was perfect, beachfront on the north side, with great access to rum point, east-side beaches, and an easy drive to the hustle and bustle. The rooms were spacious, and the living and kitchen fit our needs to a glove. There were toys for kids if you need this, beach toys such as a kayak for the adults, beach towels, etc. overall a perfect stay for our family. The Wi-Fi worked well which is important for work requests that were unexpected but able to be fulfilled. The home is a perfect vacation beachfront spot. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home.

This was a last minute trip that we planned to the Cayman Islands. We are a family of 6, husband, wife and 4 kids ages between 7 and 15.
The home is a clear representation of the listing. The communication with Robert was perfect, he always responded with a great attitude and great advices! This was an unexplored territory for us and we had a great family time! The home was super clean and well equipped with all the basics. We loved waking up every morning to an ocean view. Great place to relax and create family memories while on vacation! We rented a car and drove all over the island! Highly recommended!

We have visited Grand Cayman 3 times (SMB, East End, North Side). This North Side villa was by far the nicest place that we have stayed. The villa was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and had everything that we needed. We stayed 1 week and it was a great location to drive to visit other places on the island. We like a less crowded, quiet area. There was great snorkeling right off the private beach. I had been worried about the amount of sargassum that might hinder our snorkeling, but was pleasantly surprised. The beds were all very comfortable. They had several beach towels for use, nice lounge chairs outside, and very pretty landscaping all around. If you’re debating on whether or not to stay here, stop thinking about it, and choose this rental. You won’t be disappointed. This is where we will stay again whenever we return to Grand Cayman.

Amazingly-equipped CUTE north side villa! 😍
This villa was PERFECT four our family (2 adults and 3 children ages 10-14). This one stood out to us over to similar sized/priced properties in the same neighborhood, because it was better finished with nice updates, and included SO many wonderful touches (life jackets, kayaks, extra snorkel equipment, better beach/lounge chairs than others, excellent upstairs balcony furniture, heaps of fresh clean towels for both beach and bath, any kitchen things you could need, even a cooler for beach picnics and outings! Some families might want to be directly on 7 mile beach, which I can understand, but for us, Northside was just great - quiet and private and peaceful, and private beachfront for way less cost. Some of our favorite things (starfish point, snorkeling, kaibo beach bar, kayak tour of the bio bay) are more easily accessed from the north side anyway. We rented a car and explored all over. We packed a bunch of dry goods from the US (we had free luggage) and got most of our groceries at Foster’s by the airport, but then made several stops at Chisholm’s nearby the villa also. (Reasonable prices and so close/easy, and even open on Sundays.) We desperately needed this family time and what a perfect vacation in this sweet pink villa! Loved it so much.

Family vacation on North Side
My wife, son, and I had a wonderful week at the Azure Breeze villa on the North Side of Cayman. The property is very well taken care of and one of the better equipped VRBOs we have stayed at. The villa is located beachfront and has a nice outdoor area to hang out and enjoy the sun and sand. It also provided us a great place to relax while our almost-2 yr old son napped inside, as opposed to a large resort where we would have had to stay inside with him. The beach itself is a little rocky and weedy in spots so would recommend water shoes, especially for little kids, but there is also good snorkeling right off the beach. We also enjoyed that the villa comes with a kayak. The location and North Side in general is a little more on the remote side (no walk-to bars/restaurants, but some are a short drive away), but we enjoyed that about it, and it feels very safe. Also, We enjoyed swimming at Starfish Point and Rum Point, both of which are a short drive away. Will be great when Rum Point reopens its bars/restaurants as well, though Kaibo is a nice spot for drinks and dinner on the water. The hosts are also great and super responsive and helpful! We can’t wait to come back to Cayman!

Excellent villa away from the crowds
This villa was exactly what we expected and exactly what we needed. The property owners, Robert and Nicola, quickly responded to any questions and gave great suggestions about restaurants, outfitters, and not-to-miss activities. The villa was nicely decorated, very clean, and had everything we needed. The beach was small, but our family of four had it all to ourselves, with more than enough hot sun, cool shade, soft sand, and lots of space to play. One of our favorite aspects of this location was the shallow turtle grass directly off the beach, allowing our 11 and 12 year old children to practically wade the entire way out to the beautiful clusters of corral safely inside the protective wall of barrier coral, giving us easy access to more snorkeling spots than what could be explored in a week. Azure Breeze #2 is only a 10 minute drive to Rum Point, and an easy drive into town for less expensive groceries. I highly recommend this villa for a family vacation.
