About this house rental
This cheerfully decorated small resort of oceanfront villas is perfectly located to take advantage of the fresh sea breezes and a magnificent view of the shimmering Caribbean sea. It has a sandy & rocky beach and the snorkeling in front of the villas is fantastic. It's about a 35 minute drive from the airport and George Town but only minutes to a few restaurants (Over the Edge, Rum Point and Kaibo), beach bars, watersport shops (Red Sail Sports at Rum Point), activities (Crystal Caves) and a small grocery store (Chisholm’s).
The living and relaxing here is easy. Head to the private beach and snorkel the colourful reef just offshore or jump in the double kayak and explore the picturesque shoreline. Alternatively, you can walk right out your door to the freshwater pool, located in the center of the complex, and relax in peace with the coconut trees for shade! Since Mahogany Point is a small-scale resort on Grand Cayman’s quiet North Coast, the beach and pool are often pleasantly deserted.
If you are looking for some activity, however, Rum Point—with its beach bar, restaurant, and watersports shop—is just a 10-minute drive away. The Botanical Gardens are a lovely way to spend an afternoon learning about the local flora and fauna! The Crystal Caves are a spectacular new attraction, located right in North Side, and of course the Bioluminescent tour is breath-taking, but is seasonal, so please check to see if it is on before you arrive, as reservations are required!
Inside Mahogany Point, a lovely, welcoming space awaits you and your guests. The villa provides a queen bed in the master, with an ensuite bathroom; the second bedroom upstairs has a king bed as well, with a bathroom for guests use. The third bedroom, located downstairs, has 2 twins and another full bathroom, so there is plenty of space to accommodate up to 6 guests comfortably. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils and appliances you need to cook your own meals and enjoy your favourite dish. Also, there is a grill on the patio, with charcoal and lighter fluid on site. We recommend picking up some fresh seafood, either at Rum Point, or speak to your Property Manager, and enjoy it on the patio with the sunset breezes, cool night air and a Caribbean cocktail!

The property was just as featured. It was very well-equipped. We loved kayaking and snorkeling off the beach behind the property and having additional beach chairs and towels that we could take with us as we explored other areas of the island. We had an amazing time and the host was very responsive. I highly recommend this property. There were 5 of us and there was plenty of room. The location is perfect. Yes, it is a 45 minute drive to Georgetown but the north side of the island is quieter and we really appreciated that. We loved having the beach just steps from the patio. Chisholm's store is very close and carries most items we needed. Rum Point was easily accessible, too. We loved it!

Cozy oceanfront on the North Side. We had a pretty good NE wind the entire time, which limited our use of the beach... not to worry there are countless locations to get out of the wind, regardless of the direction it's coming from. And when sitting on the back patio/balcony, the breeze and sound of waves were more than welcome. We had great experiences snorkeling behind the house, rum point, starfish point, scotts beach, 7 mile beach, and eden rock dive center. Also enjoyed the nearby botanical gardens.Property is quiet and clean, and had everything we needed to both relax and chase adventures. We liked the vibe on this part of the island far more than the resort area on 7 mile beach. Property manager checked in on us the right amount, but we didn't need anything. Owners were AMAZING at connecting prior to the trip and sharing restaurant and activity recommendations... it's clear they really love this place and really want you to love it too. Chisolm's grocery store within walking distance had more than enough in terms of food/drink we needed for the week.We would definitely stay here again. Listing was transparent so no complaints, but upgrading to a king bed in the master BR would be a welcome update. I understand that's in the works. Overall, we really truly felt we got a great value for our stay.

The property was very well equipped, Chloe was accommodating and responsive and we loved the location. The front patio facing the ocean was so peaceful and beautiful. And there was great snorkeling right out front. Great place to stay!
