About this house rental
Nestled in Egremont, this lovely house for $430 per night is a great choice for your next break. Your perfect country escape. Clean, spacious, light and airy home set in the middle of a meadow on 20 acres. Complete privacy, yet 10 minutes to downtown Great Barrington. Close to skiing at both Catamount and Butternut. There is room for everyone, with 4 bedrooms, including two master suites. The first floor features an open concept kitchen/living/dining, along with a powder room, spacious mudroom and a gorgeous newly added 4 season sun room with radiant heat. There is also a queen bedded master suite on the first floor with a walk in closet and bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi tub. The second floor has 3 additional bedrooms including a second master suite that has both a king sized bed and a twin bed, and a bathroom with a walk in shower (no tub). An additional bedroom features a full size bed, and the last bedroom has a twin over full bunk. An additional bathroom with tub completes the second floor. Luxury bamboo sheets on all beds. Both a travel crib and extra large playpen are available. The lower level bonus space gives the kids a place to play and also features a television. The very private house sits at the end of a long driveway and is charmingly situated in a park like setting, with a meadow filled with birdsong, specimen plantings, a fruit orchard, and garden (more in-season photos coming soon!) Conveniently located in Sheffield, MA, close to South Egremont, Great Barrington, Salisbury/Lakeville, CT area and all of the restaurants, skiing and cultural attractions in Berkshire County. All appliances in the home are less than 5 years old. Dogs are considered. It is our number one priority to ensure you have a truly special and relaxing stay at our property, so please let us know if you have any questions. Sorry, no events at this time.

We had a short family vacation over the Thanksgiving holiday with our three adult children. This is a spacious country house set on a large private property, nicely decorated and equipped. We loved the proximity to Great Barrington and to the many hiking options in the nearby mountains. The host was friendly and responsive to all our questions and needs.

This house and the surrounding property is absolutely beautiful! There is a view of nature from every window, and it’s quiet and still, so relaxing! Yet it’s only a short drive to the main road and lots of wonderful shops and restaurants and sights. I can’t wait for our next visit.

We had a wonderful time at this home. There were two families each with two kids under the ages of 8. There were plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and space for the kids to run around. The property is absolutely gorgeous. Close enough to town and the ski resorts but remote enough to feel like you have escaped to the country. We definitely would stay again!!!!

We had a relaxing time at the house which is beautifully located and amazingly well-equipped, We really loved walking around the property, looking at animal tracks in the snow and seeing the farm nearby with grazing horses.

Abby's home is beautiful! When we arrived, the property was clean, and check-in was easy. We enjoyed using the fire pit, sitting in the sun room, and strolling around the backyard. I cant wait to visit again!

We loved our time here. My adult children and their spouses joined my husband and me for a long weekend. The house is beautiful. The property is beautiful. We brought our two elderly dogs and they loved wandering around outside. If we had young children with us, that would have worked well, too, as this house is very child-friendly. Located close to everything we could want in the Berkshires. Also spent a few hours in Manchester, VT. The only downside was that our schedules did not permit us to stay longer. I would love to visit again if we travel to the area in the future. Thank you for everything!

We didn't even need to bring toys - there were plenty of great ones available in the home - and a swing set outside. There was plenty of space inside and a beautiful outdoor space to explore and run around. We went tubing at Butternut and got massages at a local place in Great Barrington, only 10 minutes away. It was a much needed getaway with friends we hadn't seen in awhile. We hope to stay there again. Thanks!

I can't say enough about this idyllic beautiful home in a great location. Hiking, Great Barrington, wonderful restaurants, and quaint little towns are all nearby. The owner is very responsive to any requests or questions. I was actually sad to leave.

It was close to hiking spots, fit all of us comfortably, and we especially appreciated the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans, dishes, etc. It made cooking in very easy. I would highly recommend staying here. And communication with Abby was fantastic.

The property was beautiful, clean and cozy. It was like coming home. Everything was there that you could need from cooking to relaxation. The out door space was functional and relaxing. We loved relaxing by the fire pit in the evening. The children (and adults) didn’t want to leave. The owner was responsive and pleasant and helpful with our questions. Probably one of the most kid friendly house that we have been to. Well appointed for all ages.

This house is even more amazing in person. The property was perfect for my two kids who had the playroom downstairs and a beautiful sprawling yard to run in. The beds were very comfortable and the 4 season room was cozy. We will definitely be back!
