Set over two floors (first and second) with 5 large bedrooms (ensuite to main, 3 kings, 1 double, 1 small double, and 1 single), large family bathroom, huge kitchen/dining lounge, this property offers magnificent spacious living space for families or groups of friends to enjoy and entertain family and friends, etc and offers great uninterrupted and unoverlooked views at the front over the beautiful South Shields Cricket and Westoe Rugby Club Stadium. Main renovations include opening up a very large brand new kitchen/diner, multi-fuel stove in 1st-floor king bedroom with built-in window seat, high spec flooring throughout 1st floor, brand new spacious designer bathroom with freestanding bath and brand new designer ensuite and high spec new oak internal doors throughout. From the kitchen, the back stairs leads to the back yard, via a brand new 5 point secure door. PLEASE NOTE: WE HAVE NO OUTSIDE SPACES - the backyard is only used for bin storage and is not otherwise set up for guests' use. The same is true of the small piece of land to the front of the house, not intended for guests' use. But with miles and miles of clifftop walks and beaches you are not spoilt for choice for outside space in South Shields and all guests who book with us receive our personalised guide to the area. First floor: KING BEDROOM (5.5m X 4m X 3m high) - to left from first-floor landing top of stairs Comfortable and spacious; with a large original box bay window and beautiful built-in window seat, great for watching the lovely views over the cricket and rugby matches. With wood effect, Karndean flooring a newly opened up feature brick chimney breast with a new multi-fuel stove creates a beautiful focal point for this amazing bedroom. A large orange leather sofa to relax on and get some peace in your own bedroom and watch the rugby or cricket from our fab window seat in the huge bay window. TV with smart features, NETFLIX, etc. Kitchen/dining lounge (8m X 4m X 3m high) - straight on from first-floor landing top of stairs. This has recently been opened up with wood effect Karndean flooring laid to form a great spacious open plan kitchen dining and living space with hob inset into brick chimney breast which has been revealed to form a lovely focal point. This is a great communal and interactive area for socialising, dining, and entertaining. There is a large solid oak dining table with 2 benches on either side which seats 8 persons and a seat can be put at either end of the table to take seating to 10 persons. Butcher's block provides extra space for food prep. Ample lounge seating is provided with our huge large Italian white corner leather sofa and a further large brown leather sofa and coffee table with 52" Sony TV with smart features, NETFLIX, etc The new kitchen has a fully integrated full-size 50:50 fridge freezer, full-size dishwasher (tablets provided), induction hob, oven, and microwave. Well stocked with a good range of pots, pans, slow cooker, juicer, cutlery, cleaning equipment, etc. A washing machine installed down the back stairs from the kitchen (on the ground floor utility area) near the back yard door to ensure no unwanted noise from the washing machine spoils the ambiance of this living space. Detergent is provided for you to use during your stay. Bedroom 4 - Bright bedroom with small double bed, bedside cab/light and wardrobe. Note: large window on first floor landing at the front of the property is the fire escape window. Second floor Master Bedroom (5m X 3m X 2.5m high) - first door to left with large original box bay window and sweeping views over the cricket and rugby club ground. King size bed. Bedside cab/lights. Solid wood large chest, of drawers, and wardrobe. 2000w hair drier provided. Ensuite (1m X 2.2m X 2.5m high) - from the master bedroom. New designer suite installed. With mains-powered shower in an enclosure, inline extractor fan, wall hung WC, and wash hand basin. Main Bathroom (4m X 3m X 2.5m high) - the second door from right Very spacious family bathroom with newly installed separate open walk-in shower, large freestanding bath to relax in, designer column and towel radiator, wall hung WC and wash hand basin. Attractive tiling with subtle LED mood lighting and bath/shower recesses where toiletries can be laid. Bedroom 2 (4m X 3.5m X 2.5m high) - third door from left King size bed. Bedside cabs/lights, large chest of drawers, solid wood wardrobe. Bedroom 3 - (5m X 2.5m X 2.5m high) door from right Double bed and single bed. Bedside cans/lights, large chest of drawers and mirrored sliding wardrobe. Iron and ironing board provided in wardrobe. There is ample on-street parking right in front of the house. NOTE: Unlike many serviced accommodation we have central heating controlled by room thermostat to maintain a cosy temperature, NOT ones which switch off after 2 hours so places can get very cold when going out of the place for a few hours or every night.

We used the house to visit family locally. The house was well appointed with particularly nice kitchen , lounge and bathroom . The access is up a flight of stairs which was a bit of a challenge for elderly in laws , as was the toilets being up another flight of stairs but the property had all that was required for a weeks stay . Its close to the Metro and shops , and only a short ride away from some good restaurants . Our host Colin could not have been more helpful with information and communicated very well both before and during our trip. I would highly recommend this property .

Colin really does go the extra mile to try and make sure all goes well. Communication was excellent and his local knowledge made the holiday so much easier and more enjoyable. We loved the view over the cricket ground from the lounge and seeing the matches play out over the weekend. The rooms kitchen/dining/family room was fab, and having a separate lounge is ideal when you have children as it gave us two seating areas. The bedrooms are also good sizes, apart from the bunk room which was fine for the kids. There was no outside seating as it is an apartment and the outside yard is literally that, but the beaches are only five minutes and are amazing. You are spoilt for choice with several lovely beaches, walks, parks just on your doorstep. Cycle paths are really good too. The kids absolutely loved both the house and the area.

We had a very comfortable stay at this property. As a family of 5 we appreciated the space it offers, the house was clean, the beds very comfortable and the stay went perfectly. Communication was easy and quick. We were in the area visiting family and will certainly try to use the same property next time.
