Upon entering you'll be greeted by a comfortable living area with television. Skylights to let in a ton of natural light, letting you bask in island sunshine. A cute kitchen featuring everything (electric range, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker) you'll need to make a family meal, if you're heart so desires. A bright and cheery open dining area is connected to the kitchen - allowing you to chat while preparing meals or snacks. A full bathroom. A utility closet with washer and dryer. Two bedrooms - the master with a queen and television. And the second bedroom boasts a bunk that has a full on the bottom and a twin on the top - how fun is that?! Bring your bikes and ride down to Memorial Park for a little fishing or crabbing, to Etta's Channelside for a nice dinner out, or Ridge Road Pit Stop for a quick bite to eat. Outside you'll find a cute patio area with sitting area, as well as a small fenced in area that is perfect for your four legged friends to enjoy while you're outside as well. Daisey Cottage is pet-friendly, all members of the family are welcome - book today! - Linens and towels are not included with your reservation. Please inquire about our new attractive linen packages! - No smoking is permitted on the premises. - This property is pet friendly with a pet fee per pet. All pets must be disclosed prior to arrival. - Any reservations made for a future year (known as "Advanced Reservations") are subject to rate and availability changes. We had a great experience renting this cottage for a long weekend. It was clean with fully functioning kitchen and a washer/dryer. It’s in a quiet area away from restaurants and shops, that is why I gave a 4 on location. It is an easy drive around the Island, to the lighthouse, beach, etc.; and 1 hour to Assateague National Wildlife Preserve and beach.

My husband and I love staying at this cottage. It's just the perfect size, has great natural light, and is on a quiet road that's a quick drive or bike ride into town. We also love that we can bring our dog. We look forward to our stay here each year.

We stayed at Daisey Cottage last summer (2021). It was immaculately clean. This year was completely opposite. The bathtub was disgusting and the water wouldn't go down. The stove was greasy, the rugs weren't vacuumed and the furniture was dusty. For check out we were supposed to vacuum and sweep the floors. Well the vacuum was broken! We never received the Complimentary Guest Amenity Bag either. Not sure if it's the cleaning people or the rental agency.

My husband and I stay at this cottage every year with our dog. It is just the right size, at a great location (not noisy), and has a little fenced in yard. I love the layout of the cottage because the kitchen, dining room and living room layout is open. We love staying at the cottage and look forward to it all year.

Lovely house, small but more than enough room for two people. Shower didn’t work well, but everything else about the home was nice and maintained. I very much wish the rental company disclosed that the house was situated on a cemetery though, but it gave us an interesting view while eating dinner.

We enjoyed this sweet cottage so much! Upon arrival the first thing we noticed was that everything was neat as a pin, and nicely decorated with a coastal flair.
My only disappointment was that was no soap in the bathroom or shower and no hand towels in the kitchen to dry dishes. Most of places we have stayed before have had these items. Over all we would come back again.

My husband and I loved this place. Our two goldens did as well. The house was spotless! This was our first time in Chincoteague and we will return. We would definitely stay there again.

Cozy, Pet Friendly Cottage
This little cottage was clean and nicely decorated with the basic kitchen necessities available. The small fenced in area out front was convenient for us since our family includes two large dogs. There was a small outdoor dining table for four, which was also convenient to sit outside and watch the sunset while dining. Parking was easy access and spacious. Very cozy and comfortable.

We had anything provided to us that we could want including DVD player. We regretted not leaving a tip for housekeeping but management threatened to “nickel and dime” us for ordinary stuff that housekeeping would take of (I.e. a charge if a pc of furniture is not returned to original); REALLY!? LOL

For the price point and size I figured you get what you pay for and that was what I expected. What I didn’t expect was the lack of cleaning and working amenities. Right when we arrived i went to sanitizing the door knobs and counter tops as I have an under 2 yr old and we are still in a pandemic. I noticed dried food on the counter top, coffee spilled and covered with the machine. The coffee pot burner was rusted and crusted over and unusable. The toaster was broken completely. I could deal with that but what I couldn’t deal with is when my daughter picked up a used bandaid and handed it to me(yuk) the shower also did not drain at all and I had to unclog previous renters hair and nasty clogging the drain. There were also multiple bugs squished on the walls and left there. There was also a half ear. Go gurt under the master bed. Absolutely did not appreciate the state of the place but also didn’t feel like being inconvenienced by calling and having someone clean it again as it was already well into the evening. Other than the cleanliness the lack of blinds/ curtains on the windows and the skylight over the bed in the master was killer. Would I rent this place again. Probably not but mostly because of the lack of cleaning and the skylight.
