The rooms were spacious and clean, thoughtfully designed and was a lovely stay. Happy we could stay at the figtree. Definitely worth it when making a trip in the morning to cape town or durban and stopping in colesburg. The bedding quality was really exceptional. The room was beautiful and so so comfy. It overlooks a stunning mountain. There is a small seating area outside to have a cuppa coffee. I liked this place.
The area isnt the best slightly dodgy feel to it but honestly if you wish to stay overnight in Colesberg this is a suitable place to settle for the night it has high walls so provides a sense of security. My tv unfortunately wasnt connected to the Netflix but the other room did connect to Netflix. The one light fixture was cracked and damaged in the room so got very easily broken and had to pay a charge for that unfortunately, however I understand these things happen and the owners were thoughtful regarding it. Overall I would recommend the Figtree, Absolutely!

The space is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious. It’s the small details that set this place apart from the rest. We had a really nice stay.
There is also safe and secure parking.
Just up the street is also a very cozy restaurant.
Just take into consideration that the geyser isn’t on the entire time in order to save energy. You need to communicate with the host about shower times.

This place was just lovely. Spotlessly clean, lovely owner and comfy facilities. Highly recommend.
