Summary: Renovated in Dec ‘21, this quiet and peaceful house with a massive yard and palapa is great for families and friends wanting to experience both Charleston's great Downtown area and beachfront — it's perfectly situated right between the two. The Space: Sunny, spacious, exceptionally-located James Island house with great outdoor living space and boutique amenities. The house is a few minutes from Downtown and less than 10 minutes from Folly Beach, with all the amenities of high-end boutique hotels but with much more space. Newly renovated bathrooms, TWO living rooms with large flatscreen TVs and a Sonos wireless soundsystem all contribute to a luxury experience, perfect for small groups and families— plus, an outdoor shower! For guest convenience we provide coffee, sugar, bath and beach towels, bed linens, paper towels, toilet paper, and soaps. Guest Access: Guests have access to the entire home, Spacious backyard with great outdoor living space, and off street parking for 4-5 vehicles. The Neighborhood: The house is in a quiet, centrally located James Island neighborhood. 10 minutes from Downtown and 10 minute to Folly Beach. James Island County Park, restaurants, bars, shopping, banking, and convenience stores are all within a short 2-3 minute drive. The perfect location for visiting Charleston. Getting Around: Uber and Lyft are plentiful and affordable. There are also local yellow cabs, limo services, and a public transit. Other Things to Note: Streaming services available with guests’ own account(s). ***We have implemented COVID-19 protocols to ensure the health and safety of our guest. The unit will be thoroughly cleaned between each guest using CDC recommended cleaning products and procedures. In addition, the unit is equipped with cleaning supplies so guest can routinely clean frequently touched spaces throughout their stay. This is a self-check in unit so there is no need for guest/host interaction unless requested. If guest/host interaction is required, we will follow social distancing guidelines to the best of our ability. Interaction with Guests: The host is available for any issues or questions you may have during your stay. You will receive a digital guidebook link with info about the area, restaurant recommendations, and activities.

The house was great for our family. It was well stocked and very kid friendly with a pack n play and a highchair at the house. The perfect amount of charm without too many knick knacks for the kids to get into. The bed blankets were a little thin, so you may want to bring your own if you or your kids like more of a comforter style bedspread. The kitchen was well stocked as well and appliances were nice. The only negative was that they were out of laundry detergent. It looks like the bottle may have just been finished by the previous renters. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Charleston.

We had an incredible stay at the house. It was equipped with all of the kitchen supplies/towels we needed and it was very clean. David was very nice and checked in frequently to make sure we were enjoying our stay. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

Very shady house with lovely backyard. Plenty of bedrooms and living room and family room to spread out. Kitchen was adequate and dining area. There is a crack in the window of the master bedroom on inside pane. It was there when we checked in. Bathrooms were stellar! Laundry area and iron were appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Accommodations!

I traveled to Charleston for a quick waterski trip. The house was absolutely perfect and in a great location. It was so clean, comfortable, quiet, and cozy. It was the perfect size for my mother and I and everything we needed was provided. We loved the back TV area as we watched Netflix in the evenings. Great accommodations and great communication with David, an amazing host! I would stay here again if the dates are available for my next trip. Thank you David for providing a fantastic home for a wonderful trip.
