Seamless check in. Key code door to come and go as we pleased. Extensive tea and coffee selection from downstairs dining room. Breakfast was produced fresh on arrival in dining room and good selection of cereals and bread for toast. En suite was small but clean and perfectly usable.
Some biscuits on the tea/coffee bar would have been nice. We were on first floor so not much of a distance to go for a drink might have been a pain if on top floor. Front door makes quite a noise when closed, despite signs and instructions given on arrival some people still allowed doors to slam. This may not always have been the front door as the doors to the breakfast room also banged on closure.

Very comfortable bed but was woken too early because of noisy road. Good shower. Room was very small with no storage space. Good view over Winchester roof tops but window could not open so on warm evening had to leave windows open by busy road. Freshly cooked breakfast was nice touch but poorly presented with cold baked beans had to ask for these to be heated. The staff were helpful and attentive.
Road noise should supply ear plugs. Room way too small with nowhere to put stuff. Hence cost was too much for what was offered. Things advertised were not associated with room e.g. balcony was roof terrace for whole building.Lack of breakfast choice no coffee making facilities in room. Communal coffee machine needs to be replaced as coffee was truly terrible.
