Pleasant room for a short stay

Location is perfect, super close to Vernazza train station. Room and bathroom are as described, clean and liveable for a short time.

The room is quite noisy, either tourists outside or from the train, but totally bearable for normal to deep sleepers. The other noisy thing is the aircon which even for a deep sleeper, woke me up a few times.

Great place!

It was right next to the train station. I could run upstairs to get my sweater in between waiting for the train😅 Nice balcony, I had dinner and wine there while drying my laundry there. Felt really homey. Very easy to find the path to the Hike towards Monterosso. Definately worth doing that hike! The city is so nice to stay in and would definately stay at Vernazza rooms again!

Everything was great. Although you could hear the trains really loud at night.

Quaint third floor apartment with balcony overlooking the station and main street. Perfect, loved it

Thought I'd booked a room, turned out to be a whole apartment - what a bonus! It was at the very top of an old building and very 'Italian', kitchen with all the usual facilities, bathroom, separate good size bedroom with a balcony that overlooked the main street. Very happy with the apartment. It is next door to the train station; trains are frequent but we didn't really notice them.

It is on the third floor, the very top, of an old building and there is no lift. The stairs are steep and plentiful so not for the less able. I struggled, but took it slowly and rested in between floors. Worth it when you get to the top!

Good location very noisy

The proximity tin the town was great we were close tot he train station to be able to get from place to place

The room was small the airconditioner did not work and to was very uncomfortable to sleep. There was no indication when booking this accomodation that it was virtually on the rail track the noise of the trains made it difficult to sleep

Vernazza is a must….most of all book a table at “Al Castello” restaurant…the Seafood Risotto is not to be missed…excelle

Excellent views from the top floor balcony (accessible only if you have the top floor room). Close to train station (next door…but the double glazing blocks out the noise, so no issues at night). Comfortable bed, bathroom functional. Vernazza is an exceptionally pretty village to stay in….highly recommend a 2-3night stay.

If you are staying on top floor, you need to be agile and have no mobility issues…it’s 4 flights of stairs (narrow an small tread for the last flight)…pack light to avoid lugging suitcases up the stairs. Note, the views are well worth the top floor. Only downside was some maintenance needed for a faulty toilet seat.

Very good

beautiful rooms and a nice balcony to enjoy the morning sun.

the train noise was the only detracting factor, but it wasn’t even that bad.

Good value for money

It was good value and had a central location. It also had air conditioning, which was very appreciated in mid-September!

We couldn't open the windows since it was over the train station. Also, be prepared to climb a few stairs.

Good stay in Vernazza

It is a good stay in Vernazza. The room has very good facilities and the personel is very helpful. It has good lighting and the beds are very comfortable.

The location just by the train station because it means very loud trains passing by from 6 am till almost 1 am.

it was fun!

quirky and roomy with good facilities. ask about the switch for hot water. tv did not pick up a signal. trains going by hardly noticeable with the double glazing.

Too noisy, impossible to sleep. Narrow and steep staircase.

The property was really close to the station, the room was quite clean.

The property was just next to the railway line and was impossible to sleep. The window of the room was also on the Main Street of the town and this made it noisy as well. Moreover the room was on the 3rd floor with really narrow and steep staircase that could be difficult for an old person.

I keep coming back!

This is my 3rd stay at this place! Location is fabulous! Your own terrace! Great view of the street below. The staff are super friendly and helpful and even carried our bags up to the room for us . It's clean, has enough cookware and kitchen utensils to cook a decent meal, beds are comfortable and the air conditioning works well.

The only thing that might be a problem for some people are the stairs. Very narrow and steep. 54 steps, 4 flights up. Of course, most of Vernazza IS stairs so this shouldn't be too surprising. People should also be aware that the terrace is right above the train station. I find this CHARMING and part of the unique feel of this place but some people might not like it

Pleasant

Good location in the main street of Vernazza, by the train station. We were afraid there would be a lot of noise from the trains, but actually since the windows have good sound isolation the noise was not that bad. Check-in was very easy: they were very helpful and met us on the train station. There was instant coffee and tea available, which was helpful for making our own breakfast. The balcony was nice for having breakfast.

We had no hot water available for shower during the evening because the water heating system was turned off - this was very discomfortable and a major negative feature.

Fine room, location is less fine.

Person who checked us in was super nice, went smooth. Good that there is AC.

Incredibly close to the train station, literally as close as you can get, so bring ear plugs. The door is open down stairs, and the lock to the room is quite simple so not the safest setup. When the upstairs neighbors come in you can hear them very well.
