Great location for Chiasso train station, a quite area, complimentary bottle of water offered.
Host was not the politest of people, seemed like I was causing an inconvenience, we spoke via the app prior to my arrival which, due to business would be late evening as agreed previously. Check in until 23.30, was sent messages on my phone to ask where I was and remind me that check in would close at 23.30 ( I arrived at 23.15 approx ), for check out I was told I could leave the key at the bar below which would be open early in the morning, upon the exiting the bar was closed so I had to return inside and knock on the owners door of another apartment up the stairs, leaving my luggage downstairs in the parking area, true it's nothing major but would have preferred to know prior to desceding the stiars with my luggage. The charge for "high speed" wifi is off putting compared to free slower wifi!

Location was perfect as close to lake como. Owner was very nice and friendly, always offered tea and coffee and water. Always checking on me to make sure I'm enjoying my stay when he sees me. Although the room was smaller than I expected, it was nicely kept and ready for me.
The room was really small. I didn't realise I had to share a bathroom (maybe an oversight from me in case this is mentioned on the post but I didn't see it). Bathroom had a window so people could smoke. As a non smoker, that was a really unpleasant experience for me because the smell was horrendous. I think my overall experience was good, but this is what affects my rating.
