On first impression the room was incredible - a well equipped kitchen, neatly presented. It had a stovetop and oven which I could use to make my own meals, and there is a large supermarket very close by.
The decor was very sleek, bed was comfortable. Exactly what I needed for a few days solo travelling.
I enjoyed the local area, some great restaurants and areas to walk by the lake.
There was a friendly welcome from the owners who were kind enough to give me a bottle of wine. I enjoyed sitting in the courtyard outside my room on the evenings.
S-bahn station very close by which would have been ideal for links to central Berlin if there hadn't have been engineering works on the line (check before you travel!)
The room felt a little damp so I needed to have the window open and with the S-bahn so close it was very noisy during the night. (It runs all night long and the beeping of the doors opening was disturbing my sleep).
I had trouble with the shower - during showering water would seep through the floor. It didn't come from the sides of the shower but through cracks in the floor somehow - I guess that explains the dampness.
The towel supplied was tiny, otherwise I could have mopped up the water myself. It was also not ideal to report this issue as the owners unfortunately didn't speak English, so I just put up with it.

The apartment was very clean and head everything we needed.
We 100% would return when the WLAN was sorted 100%, but we are very reluctant for any promises we would receive.
As we came from abroad we were not overly happy to ring a mobile number to get the keys. We could have been informed beforehand via text/Whatsap where the keys have been deposit.
The WLAN / WIFI was a bit of a disaster. We needed it desperately for working with laptops. The laptops did not both connect or in turns. IP address problems apparently. The host was very friendly and tried to help, but couldn't sort the problem. So we need to connect and work elsewhere.
