Wouldn’t recommend

The hotel was not as advertised the rooms were old and dingy. The location next to a homeless shelter. Very overpriced and not as adverstised

Very clean, staff was nice

I could hear the people upstairs moving all night long so it was but hard to get rest.

Was not worth how much I paid for a single night.

The bed was pretty cozy. The staff was very friendly. No noise heard from neighboring rooms.

The breakfast food wasn’t amazing. The potatoes were all seasoning. Not a ton of variety with the food. Did not want to heat up a cold pre-made waffle for a nearly $250 one night stay. The bathroom vent had clearly never been so much as wiped down. There was also no hand soap for the bathroom. The bathroom had a white and yellow bulb above the sink, why not just replace them both if you’re gonna change one to a different color light? The bed squeaks with little movement. Did not get to speak with an employee about the stay when checking out as there was only a cleaner at the front office.

Awesome place that I would go to again and again.

Uniqueness of keeping the decor, style and aesthetics intact. Brilliant idea when it comes to displaying of the original artwork, pictures, and feel for the buildings original use as a living space for Mothers and Sisters alike.

Too bad that I couldn’t open the balcony doors and get the full view of the State Capitol. May have been good that they wouldn’t open due to it being a resting/nesting/poopy balcony for pigeons.

Great pick for downtown St Paul.

What a beautifully restored building. Love that the gorgeous stained glass windows and so many other features were saved and, even enhanced. The bathroom was spectacular and spotless. Very well done Celeste. Oh, and breakfast was delicious as well. All staff encountered were very friendly and gracious. Appreciated the water bottle refill station.

The beds were just a bit soft for my friend and I. The great pillows made up for it though.

Nice place but overpriced

Cool old building.

Not much sound proofing. Very noisy in the AM.

Hotel in downtown St. Paul.

The hotel was recently finished, with modern bathrooms. It offered a very complete breakfast.

The room was very dark, and being in the basement, it was spooky and also lacked privacy from the street. At night the neighborhood seemed dead and also not such a great place to be.
