We drove from London to Sanquahr, then to Aviemore and then to Lybster- heading to John O'Groats.
When we first arrived, Maggie had decorated the pod with banners and balloons for my sons 9th birthday, this was very kind and thoughtful.
The location was beautiful and peaceful, especially needed after a long few days of driving. We had everything that we needed, loved the thoughtful little touches around the pod with cute little messages painted on colourful rocks. The facilities were brilliant including a BBQ and we also roasted marshmallows at the fire pit that was really fun. The pod was clean and really cozy! The beds were very comfortable. Loved the coffee machine!
We took a stroll down to the harbour in the late afternoon and also visited the lighthouse, luckily the weather held out for us!
Maggie and Gordon are wonderful hosts, provided us with fresh milk on arrival, communicated well though text and via booking.com and ensured we had everything that we needed. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family and anyone heading to the Highlands. Thank you so much, we wished we had done two nights! Xx
There wasn't anything that we disliked, this experience was the highlight of our trip!
