The place has a very nice and amicable atmoshpere, it is cosy and clean, feels safe, and all the staff is great!
I liked especially that the building is an old one, entirely made of wood, and the rooms are floored with tatami mats. The small garden, too, is very nice. What more could I ask for while in Japan;)

At the beginning there were quite many people, some of them going to bed late or getting up before dawn, preparing their luggage, so I did not manage to sleep well enough. But, of course, this is not a problem of the guesthouse.
And one important feedback: why the lights and the aircons are all the time on, even when there are no people in the rooms/bathrooms during the day/downstairs in the night? (not to speak that it would be better to let more often some fresh air in).
SHIP seems to be an eco-minded guesthouse, but this particular thing left kind of negative impression...
And, please, water regularly and take better care of the two tiny plants above the shoe shelf - the spatiphilum and the cactus;)

From Hakata Station, you can use bus directly but the one that I love the most is it is only 30 minutes walk from the center place. For me, I do not mind walking.
There are some leak of the wall paint in the bed. So the bed that near to the wall, they have it. It just feel so sad.

Nice cosy house, beds quite comfortable but loud
Noise and light from other guests, there is limited privacy so someone left their light on all night and if they come back late and talk you will hear it. not enough showers and toilets (just 2 for whole house)
