Easy walk to the beach or just relax and enjoy the gulf views from the covered deck. Barefeet Retreat is also a perfect location for a day of bayside fun with bay access only 2 blocks away. Kick back and relax at Barefeet retreat where kids and our furry friends are always welcome. Pet crate and pack n play included. High chair available upon request. Pool heater available upon request for an additional $250 fee.

We loved our getaway for Thanksgiving with our little family...and our fur babies! ❤️ Everything was just perfect, and we felt right at home! It was clean, and the amenities made it feel like home, and more! The location was wonderful. We felt secluded, yet close to everything, and could take a quick walk or bike ride to the beach! Just the outside area alone was a hit for our kiddos! They loved the play area and fire pit area. We cannot wait to visit again! 😍

This house and location are Amazing! The owners have thought of everything! It is extremely clean and the pool is awesome ! The sand area is fenced in for pets and extremely safe. Our fur babies (2) labs really enjoyed the safe area to run around. We rented a golf cart for the week and had a blast roaming around the island The restaurants and shopping were extremely close by. The view of the beach and Gulf of Mexico are priceless Five star ! Love it The owner is also extremely quick in responding.

The beach house was amazing. Very clean and had everything you needed. I have stayed in many places before but this was definitely one of my favorites. Just wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks for sharing you beautiful beach house

We had tons of fun and made unforgettable memories with my husband and our fur babies. The location was perfect ! We rented a golf car for a week and drove around. Beach was super close and house was clean ! They have more than everything we needed ! Definitely coming back :) Susan and Kenny are so quick to reply our message and we felt we were so welcomed.

This place was fantastic. Just as advertised. The owner was very responsive and helpful with questions. They thought of everything, especially for the dogs. Dog beds, food/water bowls, blankets etc. There were beach games, corn hole, boogie boards already there. No need to pack that stuff. And It was a short walk to the beach boardwalk. We will definitely be back when we have the opportunity.

This home is first class all the way, in our opinion. It’s very well furnished and equipped, very clean and neat, in a great location that is close to the beach and the bay, and there is ample room underneath the house for parking, games, and relaxation. The porch is nice and provides an amazing view of the sunrise and a peek at the ocean. We can’t wait to stay here again!

We had a wonderful time on our Spring Break. The house was clean and very well stocked. The location was perfect, a very short walk to the beach. We also enjoyed the pool, fire pit and the swing under the deck. We will be a repeat customer!

The beach house was clean, modern, and looked exactly like the photos. It was in a great location close to the beach access. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting/dining in the outdoor spaces and use of the pool. The owners were great to work with, very prompt in their communication and it was no problem to add the pool heater a week before our visit. We appreciated it very much! This was our first trip to SGI and the beautiful beach house helped to make our trip even more memorable. We would definitely stay here again!

Great home, great location! Very pet friendly which made relaxing a breeze. Beautiful home, great size so plenty of space for everyone and a weeks stay! Very nice and responsive hosts. Short walk to beach. Was perfect getaway for thanksgiving, Only down side is the heater for the pool took more than 2 days to get to a useable temp. There were some chilly days that added to the struggle , so pending how long your stay is, 250$ for heat may not be worth it. We would likely opt out in that in the future but would love to come back in summer when can use pool more. Would def book again!

House well stocked, clean and well decorated. Easy walk to beach and several blocks to bay. Fenced in yard with sand worked very well with our dog. So enjoyed sitting on deck watching sunrise and sunset.

Absolutely beautiful property and the owners truly thought of everything. The kitchen is fully stocked, the new pool area was great to relax in and they even had beach chairs and umbrellas for our time at the beach. The home itself is beautiful and newly built with plenty of space. We rented a golf cart to tour the island. It was our first visit to St George Island and we loved being on "island time."

Beautiful place. All the comforts of home. Loved the fenced in areas. The pool was an added benefit. Very clean and maintained. We’ve been coming to St. George for many, many years and this is one of the best places we stayed. Very nice owners who get back to you immediately. Even the pool man was nice and informative. Would love to rent this for a week or two in the winter. Very, very nice place.

Our family had a great week at Bare feet Retreat. Susan is a great host, the house is new, clean and stocked well, beds were comfortable, the fenced yard was wonderfully convenient for our dogs, and the beach is just a very short walk away. We highly recommend.

We absolutely loved the house. It had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. We had young kids teens, a doggy and of course ourselves. The walk to the beach was easy. We had the best time at this house during our visit! The kitchen is stocked full with everything you might need for cooking and our kids (4 and 6 years old) had the best time playing on the play set and hanging out on the front porch for lunch when we came up from the beach for a break. Susan was so nice to let us know to expect the pool that is being installed to be in the back yard, which we are actually super excited about in case we stay here again!! Even though the weather did not cooperate our entire trip, we had such a nice time. The place is super clean, beds are comfy, and the towels are plush! The only thing I will add just in case for future guests would just be to bring beach towels (we always do but just in case, since sometimes there are extras at rental properties). Oh and also I can’t forget our dog! He had so much fun and had bowls out for food and water! They have thought of everything here!!

A beautiful, comfortable, calming, clean, and well equipped house. It was just two of us, but with all the amenities this house had to offer, it would have been just as comfortable with a well-behaved dog and/or children. We could hear and see the Gulf from the comfortable porch and it was such a relaxing place to drink coffee, read, or have a glass of wine. We would stay here again in a second when we are back in the area.
