About this house rental
Located in Crestline, this lovely house for $275 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Get away to our beautiful lake front cabin. Just feet away from Lake Gregory and a 10-minute walk to town. There is a huge deck overlooking the lake along with a spectacular living room view of the lake that the whole family can enjoy. We can accommodate up to 5 guests. Come enjoy winter, spring, summer or fall. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, we provide kayaks/life-vests and pre-strung fishing poles. PLEASE BE AWARE OF WINTER SNOW-GUEST MUST HAVE APPROPRIATE AUTO FOR ANY CURRENT WEATHER CONDITION. Digging out automobile is NOT the responsibility of the Host. *Suggested... 4X4 or all-wheel drive plus snow chains*

Karen is an excellent host. She was available 24/7 for anything we may have needed, but there was nothing needed.
Excellent Lake view from large living room windows & large deck. Nice Lake walking trail right across the street and the closeby Crestline Cafe has excellent breakfasts. We had a very nice time!

My wife and I loved our stay in Crestline! We were there for July and August and we had a great time. Karen and Albert were very attentive, but there were no issues, so it was a smooth experience. The cabin is in a great location, right off the lake. We hope to be back soon!

The view from the living area windows and huge balcony/deck was fabulous!!. We also loved being able to walk across the road to the roadside path, or down the incline a bit to the trail around the lake. But the best was a short way further down the slight incline to the shore line. Ducks, birds, turtles and fishing. Kitchen well stocked with just about everything imaginable. Owners were immediately responsive. Great directions and communication.

We loved the cabin. It was close to the lake and there were three kayaks to take to the lake. We ate dinner every night on the deck overlooking the lake. The cabin was clean and cozy. The owners were very responsive if we had a question. The kids had a great time kayaking and fishing. We also spent a day at the regional park on the lake. I would highly recommend for a nice getaway.

the perfect getaway ever!
the cabin is located ON the lake. The view is awesome. Cabin style and furniture are great. You can just relax on the living room or outside on the deck enjoying the lake and mountings view, or you can get out and walk around. The place is fully equipped so don't need to bring anything.

Gorgeous lake view home

It’s only about 45 minutes from our home but it was a nice get away! Super clean! Love all the ceiling fans. Smart TVs (Netflix/YouTube) was great for when we needed to relax after returning from local hiking or lake fun. The driveway is kinda scary as it’s super steep and one-vehicle only, but the owner/property manager is super helpful with a video of directions, etc. Brought our dogs, which was great. The beautiful wood siding on the balcony was a little too much of a gap for us to feel comfortable with our 17 month old, so we used the deck chairs as an additional barrier. But it’s super nice that there’s baby gates available. Our four year old loves his holiday house and said he wants to go stay there for a thousand years.

Amazing Views
We were looking forward to a relaxing stay near Lake Gregory and this property was beyond our expectations. Check-in directions were very easy to understand. Property was extremely clean. And the views…this property has amazing views of the lake that will be even more magical than you can imagine. Can wait to come back.

We were really looking forward to our first trip since the pandemic hit. We were looking for a place that was more laid back than Lake Arrowhead. This house was in a great location in Crestline. Perfect!!! The property was clean, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Communication with Karen and Albert, the owners, was great. We would definitely recommend this property and its owners.

So relaxing awesome cabin experience
The cabin was super clean and the decor is so cabin chic we loved it. It has everything you need we used the fishing stuff and the kayak. Also pet friendly our dogs had a blast! Owner was extremely responsive every step of the way. We would came here again for sure !

Beyond Expectations
Our stay exceeded expectations in everyway. The location and view from the property cannot be beat for the area. Being across the street from the lake is as close as you can get to the water in this community. You can enjoy an unobstructed view from the large living area (including the kitchen), the outdoor deck or the bedroom.
Upon arrival the cabin was spotless and stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Our trip was short so we didn't cook much, but we did enough to notice that we could have prepared almost anything we would have in our kitchen at home. The beds and the linens were all well appointed and made us all comfortable throughout our stay.
We brought our dog and again everything you need or may have even forgotten to bring was there and available to use. It was obvious that owner has taken a very thoughtful on considerate approach to their guests needs (even the ones with 4 legs).
We stayed a several VRBO properties across the country and I would say that this one was one of our favorites for 2 reasons. First, the property itself and how it met or exceeded our expectations in everyway. The second reason was our experience with Karen the homeowner. You hope they are accessible for questions or issues that arise and your experience is a priority to them. Well, Karen took our experience beyond any sort of reasonable expectation. She provided all to access information, directions, and "what to expect" upon arrival. All of this made a seamless arrival and we had no questions once we got there. She had outlined everything in such detail that we literally unlocked the door, brought in our bags, and started to enjoy our stay. Karen also did something that no one has ever done or that I have even heard of some doing in a vacation rental. She asked before we arrived the age of children as she wanted to leave something for them when they arrived. I cannot express how touched my wife and I were by this gesture. My kids were thrilled and occupied for hours throughout the trip with what she left for them. It was true act of kindness that we had never experienced before. I realized throughout our stay that the owners really care about not only their cabin, but also the guests that come to stay. Literally, from the first contact with Karen to the end our stay she made our family a priority and made sure our stay would exceed our expectations. Well done Karen, we will be back!

Perfect getaway
From the beginning of booking to the end was stress free. We went to this cabin for the holiday weekend of Easter hoping to get some relaxation and we definitely found it. My son enjoyed the convenience of having the lake nearby because he was able to fish anytime. It was refreshing being able to walk around the lake with our dog. We all ventured into the woods and hiked the Heart Rock trail. The cabin had all the amenities we needed. It felt like home away from home. It was very clean and smelled fresh. Kayaks, bikes, board games, art , coloring books and puzzles were available for entertainment. We were even able to watch our favorite shows and movies on Netflix! The welcome basket with wine was definitely a plus! We truly appreciate the warmth and attentiveness of our host Karen. She was easily reached and able to respond quickly when contacted. She made our stay worth coming back !

Wonderful location and property was in excellent condition. Was not aware on booking the property that it was a duplex with a downstairs tenant. The property owner was very helpful and the front porch with a view of the lake was lovely.

I really loved being in that house
When I travel, I usually get anxious for the time to go home, you know, nothing like our home?! well, after this time on Karen and Albert’s cabin, my tought was, I wish I could stay a week longer here! I trully felt confortable and welcome on that place. The localization is wonderfull, 5 minutes walking to regional park where you can have fun around the lake. We were so lucky to be there on a weekend with snow, it was wonderfull to play around. There are a dog park if you are traveling with your pet, it was very nice to be able to unleash our dog safely. The cabin is also very close to the supermarket and some cafes. Beside all this convenience about the localization, the house is looked after in the least details, I really mean it. When you step in, the fisrt thing you notice is the clear air, absolutly no smell of smoke or anything like that, just a fresh scent, its marvelous. The fire place is by gás so it keeps the beauty and warmth of a fire without the smoke thing. The heating system is very eficiente to heat all the house. The living área with a huge sofá and the lake view is breath taking, I couldn’t help myself to stay in that sofá, appreciating that view for hours. My husband and I love to cook and the kitchen hour was our party time because there were all the aplliances we could wanted, a diversity of kitchenware and adorable dinnerware, it was heaven – and all this equipment were so much clean and organized as well.
The bathroom is big with a lot of espace to put higienic and beauty products. The bedrooms are so charming, and the bed so confortable. The bed linen was very cozy. I' loved it all in that house, and about the owners that was so lovely and kind in every touch we had by message. I felt like They were friends!

Perfect Lakefront Getaway
Our family with 4 young kids loved our stay at Karen & Albert's cabin. It was perfect for us. Very clean and comfortable and the little touches to make all of us feel welcome were outstanding. Karen was accessible and responsive to any questions.
The location is perfect right on the lake just yards from the beautiful Lake Gregory Trail. The little town is nice and quaint with plenty of eateries to satisfy most tastes. We were able to hike the Heart Rock Trail on Saint Valentine's Day at Karen's recommendation. How apt for the day that was in it. We also bought a couple of sleds at the local market (Goodwins) and found local sledding areas.
The kids enjoyed their time so much they are already asking about returning to the cabin in summer when the Water park on the lake opens.
We highly recommend this property.
