Sagewater Hotel

Natural hot water spa. Human scale size of seven rooms. Mountain view from back window (rm 3). Bed, duvet and feather pillows were comfortable. Adult only accommodation was generally quiet except for a short stint of a neighbor unit playing music at a high volume. Location on a side street and in a residential neighborhood made for peace and quiet from the public.

The hotel needs a serious makeover and updating. If there was a hair dryer outlet in the bathroom, I could not find it. Outdated and well used (could not read any of the labels) microwave in common area. That's really an insult to not have a high quality microwave available in a short stay unit with a kitchen. Wall insulation is non-existent and combo A/C heater insufficient to evenly heat the entire room. Parking lot short a space and very narrow spaces at that. On street parking not lit or camera monitored. Needs much better lighting and security camera coverage (a guest's car had its back window broken and a laptop stolen while there). The Jetson's era styling was weird enough, but then to suffer from simple hotel conveniences, here low lumen lighting and no USB jacks in the lamps was an insult. Spa jets and pool light timers are worn and need replacement. While in room coffee provided, no choice of sweeteners and no creamer. Under-bed storage drawers are inconvenient. Window lighting choice of blackout roller blinds down (no light) or up (people can see into the room) is insane. Things were largely functional except for a broken handle on shower door and TV was having spaz attacks.

Loved the privacy of the resort, about 7 units on the property so its super relaxing! The proximity to Cabots adobe, the accommodating staff, the 24 hours mineral pools,& rooms were modern, light,& bright! Rooms 6 & 7 have kitchenettes so you can make your own food if you don’t want to leave the peacefulness of this lovely resort!

In the evening the main pool was not lit.

This is the ideal place for relaxing. Basically had the place to myself so I got to enjoy the pool at my leisure at anytime - day or night!

The bed was super comfortable

No staff on duty. No mirrors in the rooms and a dirty pool. Bought my own towels because no staff are on the property.
