Nestled in Bethany Beach, this attractive house for $245 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Looking for a beach getaway? Look no further! This two bedroom, 1.5 bath summer cottage in the quiet resort community of Bethany Beach is the perfect family escape! The master bedroom has a queen bed, and the second room sleeps four with a Queen and Full size bed. Need to sleep more? Extra sleeping options are available with the pull out couch in the living room or daybed with trundle on the enclosed porch. There's room for the whole family! This cottage is complete with a large outdoor shower, enclosed porch, propane grill and wifi! We are located on the corner of a dead end street that is safe for kids to bike up and down. We are also across from the Bethany Beach trolley stop that brings you right into town for free! Just a short walk/bike ride to enjoy everything that Bethany has to offer! The cottage is also a short walk/bike ride to the Bethany Nature Center and trail that also has a playground. Bring your Kayak/paddle board to launch at the end of the street between Evans and 7th street into the salt pond or hop in the car for a quick 5 minute drive to the Assawoman Canal Trailhead/Kayak launch in Oceanview. The perfect beach getaway is awaiting you.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is on a quiet, tree lined road. There were 2 comfortably sized bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, a full dining table, comfy living area, and large screened in front room that felt like you were outside but without the bugs. The air conditioners in each room kept it nice and cool. There were plenty of beach chairs so we didn’t have to bring our own. Lisa was a great host and was very responsive when we had a few questions. The parking pass was a big plus but we could also walk or bike to downtown. I would recommend this for any family or small group of friends who wants a great beach experience.

Comfortable cottage for our family of 4. Easy beach access with the parking pass available. Appreciated the library of Disney videos-shocked the kids with the need to rewind the tape :) Especially liked the sun room/porch for morning coffee and past-beach naps.

Cute cottage
The house was in a nice wooded neighborhood. It is a bit of a walk to shops but doable.. Too far to beach if carrying a bunch of stuff. Resident parking pass solved that issue. The house provided room to spread out which we enjoyed the most. My 2 daughters shared a bedroom with 2 full/ queen beds. There was a sunroom and a kitchen/sitting area. Our concerns were that we were not able to get large TV to work. We were able to use small one in sunroom although limited channels. Make sure to bring plenty of bed linens and towels as none are provided as listed. I also brought my own blankets as I'm not sure if comforters are washed after each guest. Bring tissues and extra toilet paper. Overall, place was clean and satisfactory for our stay.

This was the perfect house ! So clean and close to beach. Nice outside seating. Close to restaurants. Nice neighborhood to go for walks. Felt like home not crazy busy with lots of people all around. Very nice and very comfortable.

Great Location!
This property is in a quiet residential neighborhood, but it’s within easy walking distance of many great locations. It’s about 9/10 of a mile to the main boardwalk and there are several restaurants located just a couple of blocks away in the other direction. The use of the parking pass was super handy as well.

Cottage in the Woods
Adorable cottage. Quiet tree lined street. Had a lovely time riding the trolley to town. Stops at the corner. Ride to beach is 3 minutes away. Wonderful, fun time.

Great Location, enjoyed our stay
Great place, recommend it. I love the location - we would use the parking pass to drive our car down in the morning and then walk back to house for breakfast and walk back to the beach mid day. Just note that you need to bring your own towels and sheets. Beach chairs provided were great.

The Cottage was very clean and near excellent restaurants
that provided takeout menus. Our party was all 80 plus years old
so the beach really was not near, but required a car ride.
However, we had a great, sunny beach day.

Fully satisfied our expectations. We enjoyed it. But we were lucky to stay at perfect weather when AC was not needed and we held windows open. Not sure the same nice impression would hold if we would need to use window AC units in bedrooms

My entire family booked a vacation at Bethany Beach this year. My husband and I were late to the game and booked our own place, namely this adorable cottage. My best friend was able to stay with us one night as well. There are two bathrooms and two bedrooms, and the cottage could comfortably sleep 4 or even 5. It was much bigger than it looks from the outside. It was absolutely adorable, and we felt right at home immediately. Check-in was a breeze.
Speaking of breezes, the air conditioning was So Cold (in a great way). Although we live in Arizona, they aren't kidding when they say "It's a dry heat." We really needed and appreciated that AC, as we were sweating profusely from the humidity. The cottage is located in a charming neighborhood, which we enjoyed walking in, and is very close to "downtown." It was also conveniently located to where the rest of my family was staying.
We did encounter an unfortunate plumbing issue during our stay, but this was just bad luck. Lisa and her husband went out of their way to try to get it fixed immediately, which we greatly appreciated. Lisa is a great communicator and host.
Depending on where the family stays, we will likely book this wonderful cottage again next year!

We had a wonderful time
Although a little dated, the cottage had everything we needed for a most pleasant vacation. The neighborhood is wonderful and the cottage is quite cozy. The outdoor shower is a great amenity. We had no issues and Lisa was an excellent communicator. We would stay again.

This house was perfect for our family. Easy access to the canal for kayaking, quick trip to the beach, right around the corner from Rita's and restaurants, and a great neighborhood feel. The house was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but everything we needed, including separate beds for the kids and plenty of space to spread out. We'd definitely like to come again!
