About this house rental

Located in Carova Beach, this lovely house for $243 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. IMPORTANT BOOKING NOTES/ LEASE AGREEMENT/ ADDITIONAL OPTIONAL FEES: Please read the RENTAL AGREEMENT during the booking process. Immediately after booking you will receive an email with instructions to electronically sign your lease agreement to complete your reservation. We offer travel insurance to all guests as an option to purchase at that time. There may be additional optional fees charged to your reservation that may not be able to be listed on this site (examples: pet fee, pool heat, early check in, security deposit, special events, etc ). Located in Corolla/ 3 Bedrooms/ 2 Full Bathrooms/ 1 Half Bathroom Accessible by 4 x 4 only! Enjoy amazing ocean views from this home located just 3 lots from the ocean! Ground Level: Exterior amenities include a sand carport with outside shower and a sand-fenced back yard with a park style charcoal grill. Mid Level: Entry Level. King Master Bedroom with flat-screen TV and deck access, Queen Bedroom with flat-screen TV and deck access, Bedroom with Double/Double Bunk Set (double over double) with flat-screen TV, full hall bathroom and the laundry area with washer and dryer. Top Level: Great room with ocean views, flat-screen TV, 2 Futon couches and deck access. Kitchen with stainless appliances, dining area seating 6 and a half bathroom. Extras: two 4x4 parking passes (with $50 cash deposit), 4 TVs, books, outside shower, charcoal grill, pack-n-play, high speed internet access, parking for 4-5 vehicles and linens and towels provided. No Smoking. Dogs Welcome. Full week rentals only. Beds: King, Queen, Double over Double Bunk Set, 2 Futon Couches. House Address: 1678 Sandpiper Road. Distance to beach: 800'. Key Type: Keyless Entry. CHECK IN LOCATION: 1023 Ocean Trail, Corolla Office. Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub. 4-WD REQUIRED - This home is only accessible by high clearance Four-Wheel-Drive vehicles such as a Jeep Cherokee, Ford Explorer, etc. You will be driving on the beach, over dune lines and in soft sand. Swan Beach is convenient for families because it is not necessary to walk to the beach. A walk over the dune or a 30 second drive in your four wheel drive vehicle brings you out to the beach where you can park right on the beach and enjoy the luxury of having all your beach goodies at your fingertips and enjoy the day! Wild horses roam the area as well as fox, deer, and lots of waterfowl on the sound. $250 Security Deposit Required for all guests, refundable pending no damage on departure. Beach Parking Passes are required to park on the beach from the last Saturday in April through the first Saturday in October. You do not need a pass to drive on the beach or park at the home. Two 4x4 parking passes are included with each 4x4 vacation home with a $50 cash deposit (refunded when passes are returned). Passes can be picked up at our Corolla Office (1023 Ocean Trail) during business hours. If more than two passes are needed, there are a limited number of additional available parking passes each week that can be purchased from Currituck County (https://currituckcountync.ticketspice.com/currituckbeachparking) The cost for a 4x4 parking pass is $50 and can be purchased online, but has to be picked up in person at the Corolla Visitor Center (500 Hunt Club Drive). Please double check Corolla Visitor Center business hours when planning your trip. Kilmarlic Golf Club Member. This program offers guests a variety of activities that include discounted golf access, wild horse tours, golf lessons and clinics, and shuttle service to the assist in planning your activities. You can also receive special rates for the newest attraction on the Outer Banks, the H2OBX Waterpark and Kitty Hawk Kites activities including hang gliding, paragliding, kayak tours, kite boarding, jet-ski rentals and more! It was worth the wild ride of 3.8 miles on the beach to see the wild horses and occasionally see deer from our decks!!

This is probably the most relaxing vacation my family has had. The location is incredible, we enjoyed the sunrise, sunsets and visits by wild horses! Steps from the beach! Driving in was an experience in itself! We were nervous about the drive as did not know what to expect but all was well with the Jeep. The house is clean and modern and we really enjoyed staying there! The recent renovations are excellent 👍 towels and linens were plentiful and appreciated. The only area for improvement would be to add basic necessities in the house! Or at least let people know what the house does not have. We were not aware that the house did not have some basic necessities such as a fist aid kit, trash bags, no soap whatsoever, no dish detergent, no washer detergent etc. Our goal was to load up the car and drive out once to the house but we had to go back into town right away to get these necessities which was unplanned and unpleasant. This did not prevent us from appreciating the house, the nature around it and having an overall super relaxing break! Really loved it!!!

Be warned if you take your pet, there are sand spur weeds that kept getting stuck and painful on our dog. . I also recommend a shovel to clean up horse manure. We had to buy our own since the horses come close to house and pooped right in front of stairs. I don't want to scare people off but just wanted people to be aware. It definitely is a lovely beach house and a perfect location to see the horses. I would recommend it to others but just be aware of what I mentioned in the beginning!
