About this house rental

Situated in Emerald Isle, this attractive house for $575 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Accommodations: Oceanfront Duplex with 4 Bedrooms, 3 BA,(one en suite). Sleeps 10 per side. Escape to my affordable oceanfront duplex that has stunning oceanfront views. 2021 updates include new sofa and love seat, new single bed mattresses and boxsprings, new large TV in king bedroom, updated tubs in 2 bathrooms and the living area and bathrooms have been freshly painted. In February 2020 I added stainless steel appliances to the kitchen. In May I added new granite top counters and a double sink. The countertop island was extended for additional space. I also added new carpeting in the bedrooms and upstairs hall. The home has a bright, airy, cottage feel and is a perfect place to relax. Admire the view from the inside or step outside onto the covered porch to catch an oceanfront breeze. There is also a dune landing steps from the beach with a bench and more outstanding views. Due to Emerald Isle's restricted off street parking the beautiful beaches are never crowded. Amenities also include hi-speed wireless service, outdoor shower and washer/dryer. Additional Information: Emerald Isle's unique location affords homes on the island both beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Our home is located at the end of a no-through street so there is no traffic. The house is located minutes from restaurants, shopping, golf, kayaking, movie theatres, fishing, biking, water slide parks, tennis, basketball courts, an aquarium and many other activities. Other interests in the area include visits to historic Beaufort, Fort Macon, Swansboro, 1/2 or full day trips to Hammocks Beach State Park or Cape Look Out. (Both of these islands do not have any homes or commercial development and have great shelling.) Rentals are Sunday-Sunday. There is no smoking policy and no pets are allowed. You must be at least 25 years old to rent the property. Prices listed are for weekly rentals. Nightly rentals are available off season or last minute during prime season if a week opens up. Note: Rates are subject to change without notice until confirmed.

The distance from the beach to the house was great! Sat on the porch every morning and every night. Outside shower was so nice too! Our host was very helpful!

Debbie our host was very informative and courteous. She made herself available for answering any questions that we had. Our place was well stocked with towels and sheets, clean and comfortable. It was a great location. Would love to come back again.

Had a wonderful chill relaxing Thanksgiving at the beach. Kitchen had everything we needed, views were stupendous, weather glorious. Just a perfect experience. Host was great, wonderful communications at all times. The place was as described and a great value. Highly recommend.

Stay was good house was as described owner sent excellent email of things to do places to eat while down there which was very helpful. House was on the beach , only problem we had was sheets had not been washed on king bed had to strip and wash and towels smelled of cigarette smoke had to wash all that we used prior to using.

Eight adults enjoyed the beachfront condo which offered privacy and comfort for all guests. Beach access, front porch rockers, we’ll planned common areas and 3 bathrooms made our selection the right one.

Views are amazing, both of the ocean and the stars. Saw a lot of dolphins over the week, nearly every day. On clear nights we could even see the milky way and some shooting stars. The beach is wide, beautiful and not crowded. The host was very gracious and friendly. Hope we can make it back soon.

Great location. Very responsive and helpful owner. Nice to have some necessities provided so shopping could be deferred until convenient. Granddaughter loved the boogie board supplied. Space a bit tight when all beds occupied; a little more open shelving or storage would be helpful.

Perfect location. Very nice beachfront porch/deck. A bit too cozy for 8 people. Bathrooms are in dire need of an overhaul! Could use more dishes and silverware. Still, it was a good beach experience.

Our group had a great stay, enjoying the deck overlooking the ocean and playing games in the open living space. We are likely to choose this spot again- the kitchen is well-stocked, we loved the outdoor shower, and of course the view and beach access is incredible. Both sides of the duplex worked well with a few days 17 of us from age 3 to 68. Allowed for putting younger children to bed and adults having space to gather. Rocking chair porch allowed for great place to relax and view of the ocean. One of the easiest and most convenient accesses to the beach.

We loved our stay at Catalina. Great location, great ocean views. We rented both sides and having the inside door between them made all the difference--it felt like one big house. We loved sitting on the deck watching the ocean, and cooking meals in the well-stocked kitchen. The only improvements we'd recommend is better WiFi and dressers in the King bedrooms. We hope to return next year!

Our daughter got married at Emerald Isle, and our family stayed in this home. This was an amazing place (even better than the photos)! We loved our stay in this peaceful, quintessential beach house! We loved the comfy beds, the rocking chairs on the covered porches (such an amazing view), quiet street, beautiful private access to the beach, etc. This place was really so perfect that we were all so sad to leave. Great location, very clean, and had all the amenities you could ever need. Owners extremely friendly and prompt when responding to our email inquiries. We only wish we knew the owners, so that we could thank them personally for our wonderful stay!!

7 northern Ohio golfers looking to escape to golf courses around Emerald Isle. The duplex served as the perfect base with beautiful ocean views and enough beds and baths for everyone. Debbie and Elly helped make it an enjoyable stress-free stay. We're already looking forward to the Golf Battle at Swansboro 2020. We all would highly recommend this duplex.
