Ground Level: Outside amenities include a private pool, outside shower and charcoal grill. Inside you'll find a Bedroom with 2 Bunk Sets, Trundle and TV and a full bathroom. Mid Level: Queen Master Bedroom with whirlpool, and a Queen Bedroom that shares a full bath with a Bedroom with 2 Singles. All bedrooms with deck access. Top Level: Great room with TV/DVD, dining room seating 12, kitchen with breakfast bar seating 3, half bath, and a Queen Master Bedroom with TV and whirlpool. Extras: Private Pool (30 x 12), 3 TVs, DVD player, high-speed wireless internet, stereo with CD, video library, book library, high chair, baby gate, basketball hoop, hammock, outside shower, charcoal grill, community water, community pool and tennis, parking for 5 vehicles and linens and towels provided. Mini Vacations available from October 1- May 15. No Smoking. No Pets. Special Events Welcome, 50 guests. Distance to beach access: 1125'. House Address: 136 Scarborough Lane. Beds: 3 Queens, 2 Singles, 2 Bunk Sets, Trundle. Key Type: Keyless entry. CHECK IN LOCATION: 1213-C Duck Road, Duck Office. 2024, PRIVATE POOL is open from 5/11/24 -10/11/24 Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub. Special Event Details: This home offers Special Event accommodations for your Outer Banks Wedding or special event allowing up to 50 guests to attend your event. This home may only be over-occupied during the event date and the event times listed on the Special Events Request Form and Lease Addendum required to be signed and returned with your Lease Agreement. Tents and canopies can not be placed anywhere on the premises without permission from Brindley Beach Vacations. (unless otherwise advertised). Every Special Event reservation will have 2 additional fees that are further explained on the Special Events Request form and Lease Addendum: (1) Event Security Deposit: $1500, this security deposit is refundable pending no damage is done to the home during your vacation lease period. The security deposit will be used to pay for carpet cleaning if needed after the event, or any other damages done to the home during your vacation lease period/event. (2) Event Fee: $1000, the event fee is a mandatory fee paid in addition to the rental rate on all special event reservations.

Pros: Good location 5 minute walk to beach and 10 to the main part of the town of Duck. House had a good layout of rooms, large main areas. Decks are in very good condition (good for avoiding splinters). Cons: Most of the house is in quite poor condition, not well maintained. Examples - wood strip behind kitchen counters peeling off; blinds on windows were cheap junk and probably half did not have the ability to open/close, at least one was held up by duct tape; old linoleum floors in bathrooms in terrible shape; carpet could have been new or old but smelled musty; old dishwasher was loudest one I’ve heard in decades; outdoor shower overgrown with vines and moss. There were also a few cockroaches that we saw and stains on a bathroom wall from other people killing cockroaches, some ants in kitchen first few days. Overall, I don’t intend to stay here again, but we could if necessary

Great location that is halfway between town shops and restaurants and the beach. We were able to walk easily to each, though often took bikes. Would stay again.

Ole Duck Haven was a great value for our family and the perfect location to enjoy the beach and the town of Duck. The pool was great for kids and adults. Could use a large umbrella for a bit of shade but just a suggestion. The cottage was just as advertised and very clean when we arrived. The town was walking distance as was the public access to the beach. Highly recommend.
