Nestled in Great Barrington, this attractive house for $516 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Summary: You and your family cannot beat this PRIME location in downtown Great Barrington while still feeling remote and in the rolling hills of The Berkshires. Quick 20 minute drive to Tanglewood, 5 minutes to Ski Butternut, 15 minutes to Catamount Ski Mountain, 350 feet walking distance to all the great restaurants and shops of downtown Great Barrington and plenty more! Short walk to a great lake with a beach area - bring your dogs and family to swim in or walk around and enjoy the nature reservation! The Space: Your home away from home has everything you need to enjoy all that the Berkshires have to offer from relaxing to being active with a hike or shopping and eating in town. The kitchen has all new stainless steel refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, and Bosch dishwasher. The kitchen is open to the living room and dining area. Kitchen is stocked with all the cooking/serving necessities including: cookware, pots, pans, plates, cups, and silverware. The dining table seats a total of 10-12 guests. The living room has a large and comfortable U shaped leather couch that seats up to 10-12, a gas fireplace, and a 65 inch UHD smart TV with streaming capabilities and streaming live TV (SlingTV) as well as apps. You are also welcome to login to your Netflix and other streaming devices through the Samsung smart tv apps. Hotel quality linens and towels, Pantene shampoo and conditioner, and Dove body wash provided for guests. Outdoors: Sit on the huge deck in teak rocking chairs or comfy egg wire chairs overlooking the tree topped mountains, rolling grass yard, and depending on the time of year the gorgeous old historic town buildings. Bedroom 1: located on the first floor, has one queen bed with ensuite stand up shower and two sinks. Bedroom 2: located on the second floor, has two queen beds Bedroom 3: located on the second floor, has two full beds Common area: located on the first floor, has 1 full size pull out sofa bed Common area upstairs aloft: has a trundle day bed, you can sleep on the top twin bed or pull out the bottom mattress to create two twin beds All mattresses are memory foam. Guest Access: Everything you need for a great stay, toiletries, linens, towels, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, washing machines, detergent, and more! The Neighborhood: The Neighborhood: WALKING distance to downtown and all the great restaurants/shops that Great Barrington has to offer. 350 feet from the front door. Other Things to Note: All guests to agree to our rental agreement within 24 hours of booking. EXTRA GUEST FEE: We can sleep up to 14 guests. We charge $25 per GUEST per NIGHT for each guest after 8. We require a final headcount by 48 hours before your stay. PET FEE: $50 additional fee for each pet due at time of booking, up to 2 dogs. The road to the house is steep and narrow, during the winter time a 4 or all wheel drive car is recommended. If you are booking through VRBO: You agree that The Host will charge your card for the full payment of the stay 24 hours after booking. Any payments by VRBO (service fees) will be charged separately. Damage: Your rental includes an accidental reported damage waiver fee up to a maximum of $800. The cost to repair any accidental and reported damage to the rented property including any missing or broken items up to a maximum of $800 will be covered at no charge to you as long the damage is reported to your Host before you depart. Interaction with Guests: Always available on Airbnb during the day and by phone at night.

Lovely place. Perfect for 3 couples each having their own room. Very, very clean and comfortable in all refrains! Pictures tell some of the story, visiting the rest. A perfect story.
We got bumped 24 hours before leaving for the Berkshires and started a panic search for properties that would fit our small groups needs in a 911 fashion. This property looked perfect and the property owner was excellent to communicate with and to allow us to get settled into a reservation for same allowing us to save our trip. The property owner communicated with me throughout our visit answering all questions I had and allowing my group to maximize the enjoyment of our stay! I can't say enough great things about the property, the location, the surrounding area, the weather, and most importantly the host! Excellent comes close.

This house was the perfect home base for a girls getaway to the Miraval Spa. Five of us slept very comfortably in the house, with space for more if you have larger groups. The Miraval Spa was 20-25 minutes away and the house was a great, more economical alternative to staying overnight at the spa, given the size of our group. The house manager was very communicative and checked in several times during our stay. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The house was also a short walk right to the heart of Main Street in Great Barrington. Great experience and would be very happy to rent again.

We stayed in this VRBO on a recent trip to visit family. The house and property are very well maintained with just a couple of easy tweaks. Dish Towels! LOL! The view is beautiful. And walking distance to town and our favorite restaurant, Praiprie Whale! We will visit again. Thanks Lucas!

We had a wonderful stay at this house! It was clean, as pictured, fully equipped and very comfortable for our 8 guests. You can walk to Main Street in minutes and Butternut Mountain is a 5 minute ride away. It is really well-located. If I were to say one small downside, it would be the awkward road and driveway up to the house. It is a bit confusing at first and if it is snowing, you would definitely need a 4 W drive car (which is stated in the reservation). Other than that, it was really great!

It’s tucked in on a small hill above the town of GB and because of this it feels very secluded and “in the country” despite it being a 5 minute walk to downtown. The pictures of the view and the house are accurate. The interior is very clean and hospitable. Lots of kitchen supplies and a great living room with huge TV. Beds are very comfortable.

This is a VERY clean and well-stocked home up on the hill overlooking downtown Great Barrington. You can easily walk from the house to all of the restaurants and shops in town, yet the way the house is situated on the hill makes it feel like you are nicely secluded. The beds are extremely comfortable foam mattresses made up with clean and soft linens. It was the perfect spot for four friends to escape for a weekend!

We had a wonderful time. The home was shiny and spotless, totally cozy, with a lovely view and every convenience you could imagine in every room. We loved sitting on the deck enjoying the sounds, sights and smells throughout the day. The beds were super comfy. The location could not be beat -- 2 minutes from town with all the convenience and just enough privacy. We will definitely be returning!

The Only Choice for Great Barrington
We were very impressed with this house and we were a party of 12 and the house is the perfect size for entertaining and the kitchen is state of the art. We were there over Memorial Day weekend and had to use the fireplace to get warm at night. The town is a lot of fun and the location was perfect for accessing the Appalachian Trail, where we did 79 miles from CT into MASS. The Housatonic river runs along part of the trail and it is stunning.
Lucas and Drew took good care of us and we may be back!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay for our first Berkshires adventure. Located perfectly within easy driving distance of great hiking, sightseeing and the beautiful Great Barrington town center. The owners are very friendly and responsive too. Highly recommend.

The house was beautiful, had everything we needed and was very clean. However, the location was not at all what we wanted. It was very close to town, at the most a 4 minute walk down the driveway/road and across the RR tracts and you are downtown. At night we could hear music and people coming and going from a parking lot. The house was extremely close to an active train track, one train during the day, one in the middle of the night. We were looking for seclusion and this wa not the owners fault but that of Vrbo not disclosing this information prior to booking. My interaction with Lucas at booking was great. The day we were to arrive I had to send a message that we were on our way to receive the info on the house. While we were there I sent him a message as we are having an issue with the TV and never received a response. For us, we wanted quiet and unfortunately it was not.

We loved this home. We'd originally planned to stay here with extended family, but thanks to COVID-19, it was just three of us--my wife, our toddler, and myself. Very nicely renovated. Felt new and clean. Great layout and space. Well-appointed kitchen, and we did a good amount of cooking. The road to the house was a little tricky but it’s an incredibly quick 3-minute (or less?) walk to Main Street, which was excellent.
