Great communal spaces, especially the indoor ‘forest’ with hammocks, and a good ‘packed lunch’ breakfast that does the job to start your day. Everything was clean, especially the toilets and showers, and the staff were friendly.
The wifi kept dropping out and wasn’t great when it did work.

Breakfast was below my expectation tbh, but given the paid-price...can't really complain about it.
The wifi however was a big problem. There was only a specific spot where you could have a decent signal. They need to fix that asap.
But overall, I had an amazing stay. This is was my very first experience in a hostel and to be honest, I absolutely loved it and will definitely come back, when in Quebec.

location right near old town, straight shot walk down the hill.
curtains on bed
shared bathrooms ok, not particularly dirty .
all ages at the hostel- a few children and parents which I actually found pleasant
not the cleanest. no the most fragrant. Women's room priced at $40 a night usd. grungy curtains and the room smelled like a dog bed, sorry .
wifi slow in bedroom and I couldn't even watch YouTube on my computer
