The grounds are great if you have kids that love to run around a field. The restaurant downstairs was fantastic, hats off to the boss, he made us feel so welcome and his recommendations on wine are well worth taking. Kids are also very welcome.

The elfo garden is so overrun with weeds and the wood is rotten and breaking, making it basically unusable.

A beautiful old building with lovely room

The word ‘resort’ is a little misleading. It is just a very nice hotel

10 / 10Outstanding·Sep 2026

It is a beautiful property with modern comforts and historic features.

Friendly staff

Poorly kept exterior, seating outside very uncomfortable. Bedroom was ok, but bathroom facilities very poor. Smelt of smoke in the common spaces
