Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst en fantastisch ontbijt

Wim en Anja ontvingen ons zeer hartelijk. Alles wat je kan bedenken was aanwezig. Een fantastisch ontbijt met warme broodjes en verse sinaasappelsap op de tijd van je voorkeur. Slechts een half uur rijden van Amsterdam.

Very comfortable, lovely hosts, would gladly return

Located in an eco area close to cycle paths and plenty of nature. Room was very clean and comfortable, private access and shared well equipped kitchen. Breakfasts were amazing with fresh croissants and rolls, delicious homemade preserves, yoghurt, fruit juice or smoothie, different cheese & meat selection daily, boiled/baked or egg wrap and fresh fruit.

Both owners were very nice and helpful. Luxury suites Osterwold is the place to go, if you want to rest. It is so quiet...The lanscape in nice too, for those who like flat fields of course Very good breakfast, that you can have in your bedroom Going to Amsterdam by train is also very simple I Highly recommend

Gorgeous, uninterrupted rest with delightful food and host

What a wonderful place. I live in Almere city, didn't even know this part of town existed, and it was shocking (in a good way) to find peace, quiet, woods, birdsong in "my town." I rested wonderfully. Also, the breakfasts!!! I told Anja she should have an Instagram accounts just to show those off, delicious food made into art. We're in the middle of a bathroom renovation and after the noise, the dirt, the constant privacy invasion – we basically live in the living room while multiple people bang up and down the stairs – this mini-break was heaven. All my stress came off. Comfort, healing, recovery – I sound all new-age, but that was what I needed and I got it. On the first nights the sky was cloudy – only when we were departing the sky cleared, and, as I expected, I saw ALL the stars, there is no light pollution. The biggest "complaint" I can come up with is that I had to push hard at the door to open it and I wasn't aware the kitchenette was shared (not that I saw anyone else in it). So, only 9.99 instead of 10 ;) Can't wait to go back, honestly, wish I could have stayed for weeks.

While it is possible to come with public transport and either a long walk or bike, at night it will be DARK. The fact that there's no light pollution also means no street lights or lots of doors to knock on and ask for the way. So be aware of that. Also, if you're coming because you think you're close to Amsterdam and want to go to parties, this is a really, really bad spot to pick. So, come by car or taxi, or make sure you arrive and leave during the day, unless you've been there before or have my husband's courage ;) Also, I don't smoke, but this was a surprise – you can't smoke either inside or *outside*. Bear that in mind, too. For me that was a positive.

A superb place to stay with great hosts and wonderful breakfasts

Amazing location, the house was situated out of Almere so was peaceful and beautiful. The room has a patio where we ate the fabulous breakfast others have raved about too. Great for a drink in the evening and a meal. The latter you can cook in the shared (with one other room) kitchenette. It was fully stocked. The room was fabulously decorated and coffee and wine was also provided. The hosts, Wim and Anja, were lovely to talk to and we hope to return. Whilst we stayed in order to visit Floriade we also drove into Amsterdam easily another day (only 30 mins away by car).

Very welcoming hosts. They provided a lot of instructions regarding ordering food, directions, internet and Netflix. We had a lovely stay 30min from Amsterdam.

A wonderful place

It is a wonderful and quiet place, the bed is very comfortable, the breakfast is amazing and the hosts, Wim and Anja, are wonderful, very kind and helpful. The cleanliness is impeccable, the room very well equipped, and as a bonus, the terrace in the garden. The location is great, close to Amsterdam and Almere, and other beautiful places in the Netherlands. We will come back!
