This 100-year-old stone cottage has been recently renovated and styled with contemporary finishing’s. A touch of the old heritage combined with the comfort of modern living. The cottage is ideally situated within close walking distance to the main street of wallaroo and the jetty. Perfect for family getaways or a group of friends this cottage will comfortably house up to 8 guests. The space; 3 bedrooms (1 master and 2 adjoining bedrooms) which can sleep 8 guests 1 bathroom with shower and a separate toilet Lounge room with air conditioning, large TV and a selection of games/DVDs Dining room with 6 seater table, which could be extended to seat 8 Large kitchen including a fridge/freezer, electric oven and cooktop, microwave, pod coffee machine, kettle, toaster and plenty of cookware, crockery and cutlery Outdoor space including undercover dining table and BBQ, and a fish cleaning station Laundry with washing machine, large clothes line in backyard The backyard is fully enclosed with a gate, perfect for keeping dogs and children safe. Also allows for up to 4 cars to be parked securely. Other things to note; ***we do not provide any towels Baby bath and high chair available for kids Pets allowed if kept well managed As well as air-conditioning to the main lounge, portable heaters and coolers supplied for bedrooms Guest access; Guests have full access to the property, except for the 2 larger locked sheds and small locked room located at the back of the house. The Location; The cottage is located right near the heart of Wallaroo, meaning you can leave your car behind to access a lot of Wallaroo’s attractions by foot; - 150m to closest pub and eatery - 200m to recently developed Wallaroo adventure playground and skate park - 500m to supermarket - 1km to jetty and outdoor swimming lagoon/beach

This property is exactly as the ad suggests. It's clean, tidy and home like. The host had fantastic communication even through Stayz having technical difficulties. I have no faults, except the main bedroom mattress is quite firm (maybe just me being fussy!) but didn't effect our stay - more of a 'heads up' for other guests! We loved how close town was & all the board games! Thank you! 5/5 stars!

Great cottage well renovated created an authentic feel and good vibe. Shower would be better with a glass screen rather than shower curtain and there were shoes left behind from previous people under the bed

We were here for work and only stayed 1 night. The house is older but I thought they did a nice job with the decorations to modernize it a bit. Walking distance to 2 pubs and a grocery store, which was good for us. The only negative for us was that there were no towels provided. To me, that is the most basic thing to supply, and I really recommend to provide towels. In our case, our boss organised the stay and we got the communication too late. Thank you!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Crab Shack! The temperature was about 40 degrees until 8pm but the house was lovely and cool. Well equipped and a great location.

The cottage is quite homely, plenty of beds and quite well equipped. This made for a comfortable stay. Only negatives were that the yard is not really dog proof. Lucky our dog is small/medium sized and stays with us unless she needs the toilet. There is no way you could safely leave a dog outside. Some of the beds were filled with sand as well.

My aunt and cousins were the guests for this property and informed me it was not up to standards with the cleanliness, they have photos for your records if you need it. It was unfortunate as all the homes we book from you are always spectacular, sorry to complain

Property was in a great location and spacious for the two of us. The lack of towels surprised me. I only became aware of this when I received the Key details. I may have missed it earlier. Towels are something I would expect in this type of accommodation We did enjoy our stay

While overall the experience was good a few minor irritants detracted from what could have been. This included the power tripping twice, the remote for the lounge tv not working properly, the cordless vacuum being flat and the fencing not being as secure as we would have expected

Yes clean and comfortable. After rereading the inclusions for the property, it was interesting to discover that bathroom towels were not provided. We do wonder about the reasoning behind this. Carting a bundle of wet towels home is not ideal. Well I guess there is a first for every thing!!!

Plenty of heating available thankfully. Unfortunately the whole of the garden is concreted - some lawn would definitely be an improvement. It's quite a long way to the toilet at night. The house is quite handy to local shopping & hotels etc.

It is a good place to stay with family. Most of the items were provided in the property like kitchen utensils, BBQ Machine. For the cleaning, attention required to clean underneath of the bed rest is good.
