Overall...it's a decent place to stay at a fair price, basically right in town proper and there was a pool. A/C worked well, clean rooms and nice landscaping for what it was. Unfortunately there was a major repair to the drainage system while we were there, but it's the Philippines and I actually learned a lot about how Filipino laborers work. Like you can use an old flip-flop instead of a trowel to finish freshly poured concrete and it was a "good" finish.🙃
What I didn't like is that you are across the highway from the beach and you aren't informed of that until you "click" pay on this booking site. It doesn't say that in the listing nor is it reflected in the pictures. It is represented as one complete complex on the beach side with ocean front rooms commanding a significantly higher price, understandably. The walk is insignificant, only one minute and you are on the thin strip of sand. While my main criteria was A/C, a pool and the location, I honestly would have picked a different hotel that was on the beach side, even though I wouldn't pay for an ocean front room.
In future advertising...if I was the owner, I would make it crystal clear that the property is 2 completely separate complexes separated by the highway.

Location is 10/10. You can walk on some of the tourist spots like the spring and luna libro cafe. There are lot of restaurants around the area as well. And the view from the balcony was beautiful.
The hot water is available but a bit weak. But since the weather was hot when we went, It was really not a problem.
