The hotel was a stones throw from the main square (about 2-3 min walk straight down the street) and very close to Mercadona (7 mins walk) and Carrefour Express (5 mins walk). Very easy check in process with excellent communication from the staff, any time I had any queries they were answered within minutes which is incredibly reassuring as a solo traveller. I felt very safe on the property as well with the digital check in and not having to worry about carrying a key with me. The room was small but still perfect for the few days I was there and fit for purpose. Housekeeping was great, giving fresh towels and water each day and they were quick at cleaning the room. I had read that the beds weren’t comfortable but I found it great, but thats just personal preference. The air conditioning was amazing, especially in 30°+ heat it was very appreciated. Additionally, the roof top was very very clean and had a good amount of sunbeds and tables to relax at. I absolutely loved my stay here and would highly recommend for anyone solo travelling, or coming just for a few days and want to be close to everything.
I loved everything, maybe having a staff member in the property everyday would be an idea, I didn’t see anyone bar the cleaning staff.

The room was very clean and well located, although dropping off luggage and parking was a challenge (you have to be very lucky or patient to find a free parking space nearby). The check-in process is max hi-tech (download another app!) and so clearly too much for me on the road (note: the code they send you is not a key code but is the code for the app to unlock the app's auto key). Everything is very organised, including getting it all into the smallest possible space: The basin is not in with the shower/wc but in the bedroom. There is space for only one chair, although it can fit onto the Juliette balcony. There is a coffee machine but no kettle (too hi-tech for us to work out how to get just hot water for tea). Nerja itself was a pleasant surprise and a nice choice to stay before our lunchtime Malaga flight.
