What I like about this place rather than the oceanfront is very beautiful is it is next to Lofoten Seafood Center which is very convenient to do a salmon farm boat tour and the food there is really delicious. Everyone should try. Back to the place, I didn’t get an oceanfront room so for me, it’s just the basic room. Nothing much. It’s clean and good size. Patio is cute but it’s too cold to sit outside even if it’s summer here. Toiletries are available. Kettle with tea bags and instant coffee. The hotel has a buffet restaurant with good view. The location is ok. I mean staying in Lofoten, in my opinion you should pick somewhere in the middle so you can be able to do a day trip north or south. I did only a night here to experience staying in red house before flying back on my last day so I can get to spend time in room and do nothing much.
The place is huge. I believe if people get an oceanfront room and the ones with kitchen it might be nicer than just a room like mine.
My room has no kitchen which kind of not so convenient in Lofoten. I mean I paid cheaper price without it. It was ok for a night to eat next door and I loved it but to stay for more than 1 night, it’s too much relying on the restaurants. Sometimes, a small easy meal is better than going out always

Very nice rorbu in a quiet area with beautiful views.
Although basic it had everything I needed, and it was very clean.
The weather wasn't very good during my stay but if it had been, I would have liked to have had a table and chairs on my terrace to sit and enjoy my morning coffee. Perhaps they do provide those in spring/summer.
The cabin was very warm when I first entered, especially in the bedroom and bathroom. The heating inside the bedroom was easily turned down, but the bathroom had underfloor heating and I couldn't find the controls for this. I guess I could have asked but since I was there for only one night it was fine and I managed make it a little cooler by leaving the bathroom door open.

Quiet, warm, heating worked well. Is a nice view overall from the property, located in small fishing village. Our unit 51 didn’t have a view.
Is too isolated & quite far from Leknes. Don’t book unless you have a car, this not a suitable accommodation location without a hire car. Strong smell of fish, parking area too far from unit door especially as I have a slight physical disability, initially told could park out front then told we couldn’t as likely block others. Be careful when booking as rooms are very basic dormitory style small twin bed rooms. Unless you specifically book a self contained unit.
