You will find many other activities at Myakka River State Park, and several nice Gulf Beaches in the area, stretched from Boca Grande Island to Venice Jetties, to Siesta Key Beach, where you will hunt for Pre-historic Shark teeth, watch Dolphins at Venice Beach, and watch Wilde Life at the Myakka River and fish or mangrove travel, there are so many for an active persons too! The only problem we had was when my Husband put out the trash late on Thursday like we were told, we got up the next morning to the garbage all over the front yard which he picked up. Other than that we had a nice time.
