The location was nice and it had a good common room with a TV that allowed us to watch the World Cup. The kitchen is also nice and spacious and a good place to connect with other guests. Our room was right off the kitchen- it is lucky people wrapped up cooking early.
One bathroom-- for 8-10 guests.

I liked the rooms, kitchen, bathroom , also hot tube. Well equipped kitchen.
Instructions about how to use hot tube should be placed close to hot tube :)

What I really liked is the peace, the sense of isolation and the presence of animals around. It is what I was looking for.

Room is nice with a lock on it. It definitely feels like a home. Nice to experience the Icelandic countryside. Good communication with owner.
This spot was a bit sketchy. When I first arrived the front door was locked, I wasn't given a key to get in. Keyboxes were on individual rooms. The location was a bit sketchy too. It wasn't on the exact coordinates per the address, but rather a ways further down the road. I'm told this is the norm for rural Iceland since rural addresses aren't always exact.
The front of the house had a motorcycle and a car with a bunch of junk in it with no license plate. Arriving her late at night gave a few creepy vibes, and with all the windows in the house being open I felt kind of exposed.
The owner of the place had excellent communication thought and I eventually was able to get inside and sleep the night.
