About this apartment rental
Great central location ! - with Aircon for the hot summer * Designed by a well-known fashion designer to be the perfect home from home to escape the buzz of central London. This non smoking large apartment of 60 sq m sleeps up to 6 and is in a historical London building near the very center of London . We are near Borough market and there many good restaurants and pubs nearby and good value .
Newly refurbished with 5 star fun contemporary comfort and famous art , this beautiful family holiday rental is 2 large double bedrooms - one with 2 extra mezzanine double beds 4/5 beds, great for families !
There are 2 en-suite shower rooms which is a huge luxury in London and a large beautiful light living room with famous art on the walls a large dining table to seat 8 and a well equipped kitchen.
We have fast Wifi internet wall mounted TV in the bedrooms and a big TV in the living room.
The apartment is very peaceful light and warm .
Central London is very close. Kennington tube /subway and Elephant and castle are in zone 1 and only 5 mins walk away. There are many great Old English pubs and restaurants nearby to amuse you, we have a very well stocked supermarket and good food markets nearby.
Transport around London could not be better with subways, buses and trains all within 4 mins walk, and Big Ben and London Bridge are only 20 mins walk.

Little hard to find but everything was excellent. Plenty of space for 4 adults. We really enjoyed our stay! Great.

Let me start by saying that we really loved this VRBO. It was just as advertised. We took our college-age daughters on their first trip abroad and really wanted 3 beds and 2 bathrooms, which is how we found this flat. When we arrived, we had a bit of a time finding the actual door to enter... but once we found it, we were golden. It did smell a bit musty upon arrival, but we gathered that electricity must be more expensive in London, so they don't keep it on. Once we adjusted the air-con to cool it off a bit, it was better. I was worried about the location, but it was just steps from the bus stop and the tube station, so we had easy access to wherever we wanted to go. The flat was tidy, and the kitchen was great for what we needed, which was basically coffee in the morning. We loved that the Tesco was close by and we could grab anything we needed. I am so glad the flat had air-con, because London was in a heat wave while we were there, so it was nice to cool off at the end of a busy day. Both girls decided they needed to move to London and to live in this flat. If you are on the fence, don't be. This is a great place to stay.

We had a great stay overall and found the location to be absolutely perfect, easy to get around and ideal for our trip with 2 young kids (1 and 3) plus me and my husband and mother-in-law. The layout worked really well for our group: we slept comfortably in the loft, with separate bedrooms that worked well for a multi-generational family and caregivers traveling with young children. A crib was also provided, which made things much easier.The space was generally clean and comfortable. There were a few stains on the sheets, which could be improved, but otherwise everything was in good shape.One night there was some loud music from a neighboring unit, but aside from that, the stay was quiet and peaceful.Overall, a very convenient and comfortable place to stay, especially for families.

Very nice place until the last night when there were rats in the ceiling scampering around. We had a 6am flight the next morning so didn't contact the property to see what they could do about it but it was a little disconcerting.
