Stopped here when visiting Silverstone from the North as only around 30mins from the track. Beautiful rooms and huge bathroom with lots of car chargers on site so big bonus. Only little thing was being in a ground floor room couldn't open windows very wide for security and no fan in the room on a very hot evening. The hotel has closed its bar and restaurant and just seems to run the rooms as a room only letting now but there's an amazing pub in the next village along and a great cafe just down the road for breakfast so not a problem at all.

We stayed in the cottage which shared with another apartment. However, we were the only ones here so enjoyed the run of the cottage and its lovely living room. Linens and bed are super comfy.
An expensive nights stay and no breakfast included either.

I loved the room - the bathroom was gorgeous, and the products provided were really lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable, which made for a very relaxing stay. The area is very rural, but peaceful and quiet, with lots of beautiful walks to enjoy nearby. Free on-site parking was also a great bonus.
There isn’t really a proper welcome reception. We were greeted by a lovely lady called Jackie, who showed us to our room and booked our dinner reservation - she was very friendly and enthusiastic. However, I feel guests should automatically be given a map on arrival so they can plan walks and explore the area. We had to go back and ask for one. It may also be helpful to have maps and an information pack already placed in the rooms.
We also discovered through the website that activities such as wild swimming and yoga were available, but these were never mentioned to us during check-in. Similarly, there is an app for the venue, which we only found out about halfway through our stay.
One downside was that you have to leave the site if you want drinks, food, or snacks. It would have been great if there was a small bar or somewhere to eat and relax on-site.
During the night, our neighbours were frequently up and down the stairs and slamming doors at various times, which meant we kept waking up.
In the room, there is a kettle, Nespresso machine, various coffee pods, and tea options available. You’ll need to bring your own milk, although there is a fridge provided. I’d also recommend bringing some breakfast items such as biscuits or croissants for the morning, as there are no breakfast options available at the venue itself. The Yard Deli doesn’t open until 9:30am, which may not suit early risers like us.
