About this house rental
SOUNDSIDE SERENITY:
(4 Sea Path Lane) is located on the Sound just south of Topsail Village. "This is NOT a party house". This is a quiet family neighborhood as the other houses don’t rent to anyone. If you are looking for a "PARTY" house, look elsewhere. We have extremely nice neighbors and this is a nice peaceful place to relax, enjoy and recharge. We have a responsibility to our neighbors and want to maintain this peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The main floor and lower level provide wonderfully shaded areas that always have a breeze for grilling, socializing and relaxing. Witness the signature ''Topsail Sunsets'' from the main floor covered deck or the upper level open balcony. The waterside deck, main floor deck and upper level balcony provide a place to sit and watch the boats go by and soak up the sun. Deep water boat slip for 1 boat.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Season rentals (June 4th thru August 27th) are Weekly rentals from Sunday to Sunday. Check out time is 10:00 am and check-in time is 4:00 pm. This is a shared dock so be respectful to the other owners that may use the pier and dock as well. A cleaning station is provided on the pier for your use, we only ask that you clean it after each use. Our house has a large covered deck/porch on the waterfront side of the house and a large deck with bench seating soundside. There are ceiling fans under the covered deck for those warmer days with wall controls located at the coffee bar. An 8' picnic table with 2 bench seats is provided for eating outside on the covered deck. There is also a 4 person picnic table under the house. There is a balcony on the soundside of the house accessible from the 2nd floor loft area. There is an outdoor shower under the house on the left side under the stairs with hot & cold water. If needed during your visit a vacuum cleaner is provided and is typically stored in one of the bedroom closets. If you experience a power or water outage or issues with trash pick-up and want to report them to the Local Utilities please call #910-353-7117 or #800-681-4146 for power and #910-328-5841 for water and trash. Our family of five had a lovely week here! Many sunsets were enjoyed from the deck and the location could not be beat. We walked to town every night for dinner and shopping (and ice cream from Four Cousins, also highly recommend!). Super easy and quick to walk to and from the beach every day. Can’t wait to return!

We hope to book with Helen again. Amazing property close to everything. Clean, comfortable, and beautiful. Thank you!

We loved this home. Everything you need for a great week at the beach. It was restful but with lots of water fun. We look forward to staying sound side in Topsail again.

We had an amazing time staying at this property. Helen, one of the owners was super responsive and helpful. We were welcomed by all of the comforts of home. The deck overlooking the sound was incredible. Everynight sunsets were the big event. We rented kayaks and paddleboards that we easily put in the water everyday right there at the dock and paddled around the sound. It was heaven!

This was our second year at Topsail Beach and our first stay with Helen. The house was a delight for our family with 2 young kids. We had the calming presence of the sound with a quick 2 block walk to the beach (our wagon for the trek was great). The deck rocking chairs and dining table were solid, considering we ate most meals outside. We found everything we needed in the house with attention to detail on items you may have forgotten. Highly recommend and we hope to come back again!

We absolutely LOVE this home!! We tried kayaking (our first time) right off the floating dock out front and had the best time! Sunsets are absolutely beautiful! Our friends and family really liked hanging out with us on the covered front porch enjoying the view and watching boats, birds AND dolphins! We really hated to leave and look forward to renting this wonderful home again at our beloved Topsail Island (our happy place)!

This property is everything the listing says and more. It’s a wonderful location, there’s enough space for a family, and the sunsets are just beautiful. Helen was a lovely host, and incredibly responsive. Highly recommend!

We had a nice time at Topsail, NC. The house was just right for us. We loved the sunsets every night from our deck, and even enjoyed the storms rolling in. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the area. We would like to come back.

Property had an abundance of cookware. The covered porch overlooking the intercostal waterway was our favorite spot. We spent hours talking, laughing, soaking in the clouds and sun and breeze and summer lightening. The beach is a very short walk across the street. Delicious ice cream and arcade games are a few blocks walk. The nearby playground is perfect for kids. And the hosts were super nice and incredibly accommodating.

We could not have had a more pleasurable experience in South Topsail Beach. We usually vacation on the ocean front but this year decided to rent on the sound side and loved it! This lovely home exceeded our expectations! Beautiful views, perfect comfortable front porch, easy access to ocean, quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants, shopping, pier, etc. We really hated to leave! We will definitely rent this home again!

The owners of this house take pride in making your vacation experience a perfect one. They could not be any more friendly and are very attentive with quick responses to emails. Helen kept us informed of events that were happening on the island during the week of our stay. The house is clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The outdoor shower is amazing. Our family rented a six person paddle board, cruised the sound and played on the sandbar behind the house for a few hours. We also rented a golf cart for the week and made frequent trips to the inlet where we would hangout on the days where the riptides were too strong to swim in the ocean. We wouldn’t have changed anything about this vacation!! <3

This property was just what we expected! A nice sound side cottage, overlooking Banks channel, less than 2 blocks to the beach and a short walk to the small town of Topsail Beach. What we really enjoyed was the fishing from the dock, jumping into the sound and swimming and floating, and watching the numerous and varieties of herons and egrets. It was always a fun treat to see the dolphins feeding, as close as a couple of feet away from the pier! We rented kayaks, and enjoyed wading on the nearby sandbars and paddling through the tidal marshes in between Banks Channel and the Intercoastal Waterway. We would love to come back again, but next time, for a longer visit!

Just got home from a wonderful week long family vacation at this property. House was very clean and also well appointed with everything you need! The location is great and obviously the views are incredible! Only went to the actual beach one evening (due to COVID and trying to stay away from the crowds), so having a house with dock on the channel allowed us the ability to bring our boat and explore the many islands and sandbars very close to the house!!! We met a couple of the neighbors and they were very friendly as well!!! Thanks Nancy!!!
