Ab einer bestimmten Uhrzeit am Abend kann es schwierig sein, mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln dorthin zu gelangen, aber auch nachts ist es noch möglich.

Parking was plentiful and the room had coffee and tea available. The location was serene with wildlife and a beautiful castle setting. The room was decorated nicely. The property manager was friendly once I arrived and showed me around and how to use the multiple keys.
I had an odd time with this hotel and don't plan on staying here again. The check-in window is very limited. I emailed the hotel two days prior since I knew I was getting there a little past the check-in window (3pm-6pm). I wrote saying I would be arriving at 6:30 pm and to see if this would be a probem-there was no response (only an automated response). On the day of, I called the hotel at 5:30 pm multiple times and nobody answered the phone. This caused me extra stress. I arrived at 6:30 pm and luckily the hostess was there and checked me in. The stairs up to the room are steep and small (make sure your luggage is light). The hotel room was very cold and there were no extra bed furnishings. No t.v. in the room. The hotel was very noisy all night long. The night before you have to give an exact breakfast time. I stated 9 a.m. and when I went to breakfast, I was locked out of the breakfast room. In my head I said 'forget it!' and was going to get my things and head out. The manager happened to be passing by and unlocked the breakfast room for me. The breakfast is a partial (sparse) buffet and the hostess brings orange juice, a boiled egg and warm bread/butter/toppings. The food felt very controlled and for the 150+ euros spent, I had expected better all around. Checkout is early at 10:00 a.m. so the overall value isn't worth it.
