From the moment we arrived, we were completely blown away by this impressive property. Even though the photographs online make it look amazing, nothing quite prepares you for how impressive it is when you actually drive through the gravelled driveway and enter through the electric gates. The property, grounds and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. We were warmly greeted by the owners, who were extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We were even offered a welcome drink — a lovely bottle of beer each, which was a fantastic touch and very much appreciated after our journey. Our double bedroom was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable, with a huge en-suite bathroom featuring both a shower and a bath. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the bath, but it was fantastic and really added to the feeling of luxury. We also had access to a lovely shared terrace, which was perfect on such a warm evening. We decided to enjoy a light dinner there with a glass of wine, simply relaxing and taking in the beautiful surroundings. It was the perfect way to spend the evening. Breakfast the following morning was superb, with a wonderful selection of food and everything beautifully presented. We also enjoyed chatting with the other guests over breakfast, which added a lovely social element to our stay. A huge amount of credit must go to the owners, whose hospitality, attention to detail and warm welcome made our stay so enjoyable. This is a beautiful property in stunning surroundings, with fantastic accommodation and an excellent breakfast. We would absolutely highly recommend staying here. It really is a special place and is well worth a visit. We would certainly be very happy to return!
