Everything! The owner, Gianni, was visiting from Italy with his lovely group of friends. While only Gianni spoke English, they all made an effort to engage with us, and I even picked up a few new Italian words along the way! The hotel feels more like a home away from home, peaceful, with a large pool and a blissful outdoor massage experience. There’s no fixed menu; instead, Chef Safari curates meals based on your preferences and shops accordingly. He executed my meals with perfect precision! James, the sole waiter, was always so attentive and kind. As we left, the whole team came out to bid us heartfelt goodbyes, complete with Italian cheek kisses and I got compliments of “Una Bellissima!” Aww 🥰. It felt like leaving old friends 🥹. If you’re in Malindi, I highly recommend this place!

Everything! The villa is so so beautiful, the pictures don’t do it any justice. The staff - Safari, Loise and Lewa - were ever so helpful. I felt at home, they made sure I felt at home too! The breakfast was yummy and oh so filling!

The distance from the beach was a bummer. However, you’ll want to spend most of your time at the villa cos there’s so much to take in. The big pool compensated for it not being a beachfront.
