You may even spot bald eagles flying nearby and watch them roost in the tall trees across the lake. You'll notice on the dock there is a dog-friendly swim ladder that has wide-steps and is gently angled, making it easy to get in the water for the whole family and the family pup. End the evenings gathered around the firepit, and don't forget to cast your eyes skyward to see the millions of stars filling up the night sky. This home also features a well-equipped, full kitchen with a wet bar, a Ping-Pong table, and a large, furnished patio with a gas grill. What's nearby: Enjoy the convenience of fishing right off your private dock, where bass is a frequent catch. You can also venture over to Lake Anna State Park, just 15 miles away, offering multiple options for hiking, swimming, and pier fishing. Or take a short drive to the quaint town of Mineral, where you'll find the Coyote Hole Cidery, Lake Anna Winery, Cooling Pond Brewery, and much more. Things to know: Free WiFi Full kitchen The family dog (100 lbs. max.) is welcome with a small, nightly fee Ping-Pong table * Please note that the pool and tennis courts in the common area are not available for guest use. * Please note that a harmful algae bloom may be impacting the lake in this area. Please contact Vacasa for more info. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. No more dogs are allowed. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles. Dock details: Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Lovely home just right for four adult couples and four kids. The home is just as pictured and described by Vacasa. The children enjoyed ping pong and the huge downstairs TV. Despite chilly Christmas weather we gathered at the fire pit for evening sunset s’mores. A few of us did a polar plunge off the dock! The kitchen provided all necessary items for cooking and table setting. Food shopping is conveniently nearby, as are restaurants and gathering spots. There are a few nearby churches, friendly though small.

This was perfect location for a peaceful family Thanksgiving get away. Beautiful views, open living space, and plenty of space for everyone. We defiantly plan to come back again!

We loved the flat, very-useable yard, the great dock area and the well-set-up kitchen and eating areas. Lots of great memories were made!

The property was as described. With 4 adult couples and 5 grandchildren the house fit us perfectly. Each couple had a bedroom with a private bath, The children played, watched TV and slept downstairs. The best thing was drinking coffee every morning on the back porch overlooking Lake Anna.

This is our 3rd time renting, and overall it’s still pretty good, but this time we saw couple of roaches live and death down in the basement and in the master bath. We will look for somewhere else next year

A beautiful house! It was perfect for our extended family vacation with 4 families. Rooms were large, many bathrooms, and large family room/kitchen for hanging out. The front yard was perfect for our yard games, porch was great for watching the water.
There were not enough blankets. Nothing to snuggle up in on the couch, so bring your own! There was a wasp issue down at the dock. Many nests and although we were careful not to disturb, they were always flying around.
The only thing I wished we had was a kayak. Since you cannot rent a boat on the private side, it would have been awesome to be able to explore by water.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. A couple things that needed some help were the lawn had clearly not been mowed for at least 2 weeks. The grass had gone to seed and was up to the chin of our 2 year old. The hardwood floors and bathrooms in general were not clean.

We stayed at Tranquil Point in June 2022. While the home was great it was lacking in a few areas. For our family it is all about the dock and the water. No chairs or tables at the dock, nor was there access to electricity to use pumps for tubes and rafts. But the biggest negative was the nails sticking out of the corner of the dock where guests are to tie up their boats. Plus Zero dock edging to protect your boat. The upstairs bedroom is on the same AC as the rest of the house, so to get that room cool enough to sleep in you have to freeze everyone else. Several of the beds need to be replaced. 3 people in our family are sensitive to added smells and the basement had "plug in" scents and we had to air out the basement to be even useable. In conclusion, for the price of the home....we had hoped for more. The home would deserve 5 stars if dock, beds, and AC needs were addressed.

This house is great and has a lot of rooms and space. The property was nice and had a great dock and water access. The only down side is that there was 2 rooms in the basement but no bathroom. All the other rooms had bathrooms attached, so anyone staying in the rooms downstairs needed to share a bathroom in another bedroom.

This is a perfect lake vacation home. Everything you need, perfect location, flat lot, great dock. Only draw back is there is no bathroom for the bottom level bedrooms- they have to share with someone’s private bedroom bath.

The home was spacious, well equipped, and very comfortable for our group of 11. It is centrally located which was very helpful as we traveled around Virginia throughout the week.
