Pour une famille qui privatise un dortoir, c’est un excellent rapport qualité prix. Si on veut visiter la côte, la région de Burgos et le Pic de l’Europe, c’est très central et cela évite de déménager chaque soir. Vraiment un bon séjour. Il y a aussi un réfectoire, une cuisine et un immense frigidaire collectif très pratiques.
Frankly, nothing. You cannot expect a five star hotel for that price, of course, but it is frankly the highest value for money that you can get.

Praktische Herberge für Einzelgäste und Gruppen. Lage am Ortsrand, daher ruhig, Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Küche kann benutzt werden, draußen gibt es Möglichkeit zim Wäschetrocknen. Im Schlafsaal gibt es pro Bett je ein Schließfach, in das ein großer Rucksack passt. Dazu Ablagen und Steckdosen neben den Betten und sogar einige Nachtischlampen - gut gemacht!
Gebucht war Bett im 6-Bett-Zimmer, tatsächlich handelte es sich aber um einen großen Raum mit 12 Betten. Der war zwar durch eine 2m hohe Holzplatte, die nicht bis zur Decke reichte, in 2 Einheiten mit jeweils 6 Betten unterteilt. Aber die Trennwand diente eigentlich nur als Sichtschutz, hinsichtlich Lärm, Luft und Licht wären eben 12 Leute im Raum gewesen, wenn voll belegt gewesen wäre (es war nicht, und daher konnte ich gut schlafen). Das fand ich nicht ganz korrekt, auch wenn ich für den günstigen Preis natürlich kein 3-Sterne-Hotel erwarte. Und das war es übrigens auch hinsichtlich der Bausubstanz nicht, sondern eben ein authentisches Hostel, dass schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel hat, aber eben auch schon sehr vielen Leuten preiswerte, schöne Urlaubstage beschert hat.

Staff were super accommodating - i turned up late after the solar eclipse, (to my shame) speaking no Spanish but the young woman who came out to meet me was unbelievably helpful despite and we muddled through with my phone translator. I was also grateful that she let me garage my motorcycle although i think it would have been perfectly safe outside anyway. It was frankly astonishingly inexpensive as long as you're ok sharing in a bunkhouse. Perfectly adequate, clean facilities, good mix of guests from all over Europe all of whom were mutually considerate.
At this price? Nothing...sharing a dorm wouldn't be my first choice but it wasn't an issue either.
