We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful area. The fishing lakes added a scenic backdrop. The facilities within the lodge were first class.
The public road leading up to the properties was in need of repair.

Stayed here many times in the last couple of months working away always clean and tidy staff are amazing and always a cold beer in the fridge upon arrival 10/10

The pond, the nature and the quiet. The cafe was adorable and staff was very sweet and accommodating. The food was good. The staff were lovely -especially Ollie . Claire was very sweet and enjoyable to talk to.
The doors just wouldn’t lock, except one time we were able to finagle the doors to lock but after that, we couldn’t. Locks shouldn’t be that difficult to lock. We felt reasonably secure going off and leaving it due to the isolation factor. Also, we would have given the comfort level 10 stars but the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. We also had a hard time getting responses to our calls (we had a couple of questions about locks, etc. , but did not get called back. I believe they owner was on holiday, so that could be it) Otherwise, everything was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and I loved the little cafe kitty! He was a highlight to my day!
