This was the most perfect little treehouse for our family. Its in an excellent location close to the beach. The owners have already provided bikes and beach items so you wont have to bring anything! The kitchen has everything you need to cook a great meal. Of course Freshfields is a short drive away with lots of excellent dining options. We will definitely be looking at renting this house again when plan another trip to Seabrook. This was the third house we have rented at Seabrook and definitely our favorite!

Perhaps a bit more info on amount of steps to tree house RE: carrying in food and personal items...that being said the place is awesome lovely views beach access is not at this time convenient the 2 access beaches 7 and 9 are basically rip rock not the owners fault...walking t hur golf course is truly not a good idea would rent again lovely owners

great spot -- we were there for my niece's wedding at the beach club so it was close and convenient! My wife liked sitting on the deck and listening to the birds and using her bird app to identify them.

The treehouse was a great spot to have our annual girls’ trip! Depending on traffic it’s about a 40 min drive to Charleston. However, it’s a short drive to local restaurants and shopping. Located in a great area to walk or ride bikes. Loved having the bikes available. We rode them to the beach a few times. The charge to access the club area seemed a little excessive $40/day/pp. However this is something the owner doesn’t control. Just know that even if you just want to eat there (even if you’re not using pool or beach) you have to have a pass. They don’t take cash.

This villa is simple, but provides a comfortable setting to take in the wonders of Seabrook Island. Doug & Nancy were great with communication. The villas has a full kitchen complete with everything you could need to make and serve meals. The island is incredible, and the villa was just want we needed. Highly recommend!

We have visited Seabrook at other rentals before and we all have agreed this was our favorite spot so far. The location is quiet and feels private but was easy to access if you don’t mind some steps. We especially enjoyed the porches and the golf course was a beautiful view with occasional wildlife visitors. Doug and Nancy were great communicators and the home was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped and served our family of 4 comfortably. The bedrooms were cozy (with some blackout curtains!) and we were grateful to have the second bathroom. Having laundry on site was fantastic and we used some of the available beach equipment too. Regretfully, we didn’t find time to use the bikes so I can’t speak on their condition. I’d definitely book this home again!

My family with 3 children - ages 12, 12 and 10 had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Treehouse. The house itself was precious, very comfortable, and cozy. We were very satisfied with the property, the neighborhood, the golf course, the beaches and the pools on the property that were available to use. We put the bicycles, beach chairs, wagon and beach toys to use. It was much fun bike riding all around the island, going on the nature hikes, checking out crab island and enjoying the pure beauty of the Treehouse and community. We were able to walk down the beach and watch the dolphins feed which was amazing.
The beds and bedding were great and the kitchen, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher were all utilized. We bbq'd on the porch and enjoyed the seating area under the treehouse.
The nature and beauty was so nice. We sat on the porch and watched as squirrels build nests. It was so neat to be eye level with them and watch.
We were able to see deer feeding in the morning and also saw alligators around the ponds by the main entrance to the island.
The Oak Trees and Magnolia Trees throughout the island were majestic and a brief trip about 15 minutes up the road had us visiting the Angel Oak that is estimated between 400-500 years.
I highly recommend others to enjoy this fabulous place. The owners were very helpful and ready to step up. They even came out to the property to repair a popped tube in one of the bikes. That is some great customer service there.

What a fun new experience staying in a tree house! Everything we needed in a small but cozy place for my family’s trip to Seabrook Island. It was clean, spacious, and easy to get to. We really enjoyed our short trip to the beach.

This place was clean, full of every amenity you could need, and a lot more spacious than we pictured a treehouse to be. The neighborhood was so peaceful and we loved seeing the dolphins every day. We can't wait to visit again!

It’s a great little villa. The outdoor patio is tucked up in the trees so bird watching is easy! Pretty much had everything we needed. Beaches are GREAT! Very exclusive and safe area! It’s a bit of a walk to the good beach spots (5 and 6). I would recommend using the bikes! Not a lot of room for child play around the villa. Most grass areas are the golf course. A lot of early morning greens keeping on the golf course which was okay for us since we were awake but if you like to sleep in you might want to keep the windows closed. Overall, we were very happy with our stay! Only reason I gave lower scores for location and neighborhood was due to lack of sidewalks, lots of construction noise and locals drive faster than posted signs!

We loved staying in the treehouse! The owners were so attentive and friendly throughout the process. We were there for a holiday visit, and despite unseasonably cold temps, we stayed cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and the beds were great. Would love to come back in warmer months to use the bikes, the beach gear and enjoy the big deck and many windows. A really unique and fun place for a small family to stay on beautiful Seabrook Island!

A lovely treehouse in a peaceful setting. The cozy two bedroom two bath treehouse with a private golf course view is two minutes from a gorgeous ocean beach. The house is clean and neat and looks as represented. Would give it a five star rating if the furniture and kitchen equipment were less dated.

We enjoyed are stay at Seabrook Island. The treehouse was big enough for the three of us- cozy, but not in a bad way. The beds are firm-so beware if you need a softer mattress. The water was only warm, never what I would call hot. Everything else was great. Nicely stocked kitchen- plenty of pots, pans and dishes. Nice sized TV in the living room and plenty of seating. The view from the deck over the golf course and lagoon was very beautiful. The location was great! We felt very safe there and it was also quiet.

We loved our stay at this property. The house was perfect. We loved waking up and seeing the deer right outside the large windows.
The community is also fantastic. Our teens loved the variety of activities (pool table, two outdoor pools, weight room, etc.)
The hosts are wonderful. They created an easy check in/out and were available to answer any questions promptly.
We hope to return soon and have already recommended it to family and friends.

Cozy little beach getaway
I came to Seabrook Island with friends and family for this first time in years. I attended a conference on Kiawah during the mornings while everyone else played in the sun! Your “treehouse” and its location were just ideal and providing bicycles, beach chairs with other paraphernalia was an added bonus! We all agreed that we had a wonderful stay and brought home many nice memories. I would recommend this cozy beach treehouse to any beach bound adventurers!

This funky little treehouse villa has a relaxed vibe and a shaded setting with peaceful views of the golf course and wildlife including egrets, heron, deer and gators. The owners were communicative but we really didn't have any problems that needed their intervention.. The kitchen is well stocked. Be aware of lots of stairs up to entrance which could be a concern for those with mobility limitations. Fairly close to the beach but expect to use your car to access the more desirable spots. First time to Seabrook Island-very quiet, exclusive. Beach Club is nice.

Great Place for Vacation for a Single Family
We took a trip to Charleston for the wedding of a family member. Having never been to Charleston (or South Carolina), the family member getting married suggested we look at Kiawah Island or Seabrook Island for a place to stay so that the families attending the wedding would all be near each other. We found this cute little place on Seabrook Island. The rest of the extended family all stayed on Kiawah Island. If I had to do it over again, I would have stayed on Kiawah Island.
This particular property was well maintained, clean and in a great location. The property owners were very attentive and communicative. The property is listed to sleep 5 with the pull-out couch bed. The property owners will recommend against having five despite the VRBO listing due to the small nature of the unit. We had a last minute member of the family able to join, so we actually had five people. It worked fine since he was a teenage boy. The pull-out couch was plenty big and easy to pull out. There just is no privacy for the fifth guest or a place to put their things, so just be aware of that. If it’s one of the kids, it’s absolutely no problem.
Seabrook Island is beautiful and quiet. There are lots of bikers. Be aware that it takes a good 10 minutes to get to the property from the entrance to Seabrook Island due to the slow 25 MPH speed limit, so if you are doing a lot of traveling around the area (i.e. sight seeing, going to the grocery store, etc.) you’ll be spending a lot of time shuttling in and out on the slow road.
You’ll see that Seabrook Island has an amenity card. This card is required to purchase anything on the island. You can’t go to the pool or even eat at one of the restaurant’s without it. I ended up spending $300 on one and used it once to go to the pool. I recommend just using the restaurants nearby at Freshfield’s Village. The card will get you into the pool, but everything else like the tennis courts, gym, etc. cost extra in addition to the daily card charge.
The property owner’s will not allow you to call a guest in through the gate. The rest of our family on Kiawaha did not have this problem. I called the gate to have them let my brother-in-law in to get some food from me. The owners called the security gate and chewed them out for letting someone in. Be aware of that if you are with a group with some staying on Kiawah. If you are alone it will be no issue.
This was a great vacation for us. It was a lovely place with good hosts.

Amazing time!
My family and I had a wonderful time while we were on vacation! They had games to play for us and the kids! The space was very beautiful too! It was close to the beach so easy to get in the car and two minutes later on the sand and enjoying the view of the water! Thank you so much for letting us stay at this emaculate house while on vacation! We will definitely be back next year!

We planned our spring break trip back in December, and picked Seabrook because we have many fond memories of Charleston/Kiawah but wanted to do something new. The treehouse was wonderful. Our kids thought it was just the coolest thing and actually enjoyed sharing a room. Our daughter loves it when things are cute and cozy and so do I! The lower deck view was a nice place to drink coffee and relax and our trip was enjoyed by all.
