Located on the hillside with great view from the terrace and bedroom windows. The design is traditional Japanese style with equipped kitchen and private Onsen in the basement floor. Air conditioning worked very well.
First, the directions were unclear and finding the entrace and the place was incredibly hard. We couldn’t find parking space even paid. Second, The maintenance is very poor: sliding doors with ripped paper, most of the mosquito nets are broken. Some of the windows jammed. In the shower the wood deck was broken. Cabinet in the shower was broken, one of the entrance gates was broken and not according to the instructions we recieved. It felt as if the place was abandoned…

Beautiful scene from the terrace and bedroom. The rooms are large and comfortable.
Some spots in the house are covered by dust, seem they were forgotten by the cleaner. De-odor machine in the kitchen is really dirty. Location is quite remote.

We stayed one night and it was great for our needs. We mostly booked the stay because of the view from the bedroom and the terrace and we were not disappointed. Getting there and inside was easy (the host sent a detailed guide) and it was close enough to the trainstation (less than ten minute walk) and close enough to Gora station. The interior was pretty and everything we needed was provided (eg house shoes, towels, shampoo, mugs, kettle, warm water etc)
The host was not reachable throughout our stay. I had asked about luggage storage but only got automated responses which was a bit annoying. Luggage storage was ultimately not possible and other questions were not answered either. It was also a bit cold and we did not know how we could heat up the room more. The shower (altough beautiful) isnt the newest and the floor in the bathtub started to come off. Other than that the view was great and it was a nice stay for our purposes. However i dont think i would stay longer than one or two nights.
