With a large covered porch on the front, overlooking the hillside and hills beyond, the scenery is sure to inspire. This cabin is also at the epicenter of the Hocking Hills region and all that it has to offer! - Looking for more scenery and hiking? 17 miles to Ash Cave / 12 miles to the famous Uncle Buck's Riding Stable and Dance Barn - Have a passion for boating, fishing, or swimming? 7 miles to Lake Hope State Park and Adventure Pro Canoe Livery - Adventure seeker? 17 miles to R Adventure Park / 20 miles to Hocking Hills Canopy Tours - History lover? 6.5 miles to historic Nelsonville, OH (Home of Hocking Valley Scenic Railway and Rocky Boot) - Love the night life or unique cuisine? 16 miles to Athens, home of Ohio University, 7 miles to a Sunday brunch to die for at Lake Hope Lodge. **Driveway is gravel and is suitable for most, but not all 2 wheel drive vehicles. 4 wheel drive is necessary in Winter and early Spring months. **Vrbo requires us to disclose that there is a security camera viewing the entrance to the driveway. **PET FEE: $40 Pet Fee. 2 Dogs maximum/no cats please. **ADDITIONAL GUEST FEE: Base Rate is for 2-6 Guests. Spacious cabin that worked out well for a family of 7. We spent Thanksgiving here and overall it was well equipped - for a holiday dinner we were glad we brought some needed kitchen ware. The WiFi is actually a hotspot so not really efficient for 7 to use but those who needed to do some remote work sorted it out.

Everything was great for our weekend trip! Easy communication with the host and the house was great. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice weekend away!

The property was clean and comfortable and laid out very well for pets. There were a few properties coming in that looked a bit sketchy which was a little unnerving, but they weren't super close to the cabin. Communication with the property owner was great, he answered our questions very quickly. A binder was also provided with options of things to do and local restaurants which I thought was very thoughtful. Is it the ritz? No, but it has obviously been maintained very well. I felt safe and comfortable and really appreciated the layout of everything for my dog.

The cabin was great, very nicely appointed, nice seating area, very big dining table, which we used to make a puzzle and have fabulous food throughout the weekend. Also, even though we were close to Athens, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, which is what we wanted.

Overall we loved the house!! Perfect for a family gathering. The wifi was not the greatest. The fenced in back yard area was perfect for letting our dog out but the unevenness of the ground and the large slant made it not conducive for much else. But the house was beautiful and the upper balcony was perfect for hanging out in the evenings.

This was a perfect spot for a long weekend with family. The house was well stocked and very dog friendly. The deck was our favorite spot in the house! It was so peaceful and quiet, but also close enough to town. We would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful Cabin VERY CLEAN! Spacious throughout and great for young teens and adults. The backyard is very hilly and not really a yard to play on but it is fenced in for larger dogs only. Small dogs will get through. Host was awesome. Hot tub was clean also. Deft recommend. Close to Logan for groceries and the Hocking Hill popular caves.

We really enjoyed this cabin over weekend with our family to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. The only suggestions I would make are railing going to the basement for small children and elderly guests. It was very dangerous going up and down with no railing to protect them from falling over the steps and walking down. Basement bedrooms and sitting area were very chilly so I would bring extra blankets. A define plus would have been a shower in the downstairs bathroom especially for a large family. Overall, we really enjoyed our weekend and time at this cabin.

My family enjoyed our time at this cabin. We were looking for a quiet and resting time, it was exactly what we got. Cabin was very clean. All the comforts of home. Cabin had plenty of info about activities in surrounding area. Some of the family went on different hikes.

We rented the cabin for a Christmas family gathering. It was a beautiful cabin and just what we needed. The property was perfect and we quite enjoyed the hot tub! The Christmas decor made it just that much more special!

We highly enjoyed our stay! Cabin/property is as pictured and described! I booked this to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and his closest friends/significant others! If I had any questions or concerns the owners responded promptly! I would highly recommend this place! I went in a girlfriend and came out a fiance! The sites made the memory that much enjoyable! Definitely would return!

Five friends gathered for the weekend at this great cabin. Very clean cabin. Great directions and location. Cabin was clean and kitchen had all we needed. Hot tub was great! The only thing we said was lacking is a big living room area. There is a small living room upstairs and a small living room downstairs. We had a great time on our trip!

The place has been clearly remodeled and it’s done with really good taste. It was clean and family friendly. Our family really enjoyed the proximity to all the caves, Ash Cave and Old Man’s Cave as well as it’s proximity to town. We enjoyed ourselves there. The only problem was the wifi. It was down for 2 days because they were working on a tower close by and unfortunately, the tv also runs off wifi. A little spotty when it was back up. It was a good excuse to disconnect and play games and watch movies on dvd supplied by the owners.

We had a girls weekend out of the city. The description and photos to this house are spot on. Beautifully tucked away you will get the seclusion you want. We didn’t have kids or dogs but loved the option with all the gates and fenced in yard we would definitely come back and bring the pups. Nick was very fast at replying to messages and 100% helpful, after someone left a personal item he promptly got it and mailed it to her. Thank you for a great stay!

Very easy renting and property access emailed ahead of time. Very accurate pics and description. Wish there was a shower downstairs only because we had an elderly person but we knew this ahead of time, not their fault! The backyard fence is great for small dogs but would not be for large dogs. Only problem and why I gave 4 stars was backyard access from upstairs, their is no railing for small dogs or kids and is an awkward door causing one of our dogs to fall from the top! Everything turned out ok and would just be aware, hoping a rail is put up however I would still highly recommend this property. Driveway is a little ruff und has ruts on the turn the makes it an adventure getting up but it is doable.

This house is on a back road and up a little hill in the middle of nowhere but close to the parks, trails and civilization we wanted. The huge covered porch at the level of the tree tops is perfect for morning, afternoon and evening relaxation while listening to the birds, deer coming through the woods and coyotes howling in the distance. All the amenities were there. This place would easily accommodate a much larger party with plenty of room to spread out. Beds were comfy and the hot tub was clean and very much appreciated. Our dogs ran around the fenced in area and trails around the property gave us perfect walking paths. Just loved this rental. Would definitely go back again.

This cabin was a beautiful!! Everything was clean and cozy, the view was so peaceful with the wrap around porch overlooking the forest. We came for my friend's bachelorette party and it was a perfect little getaway with privacy, hot tubbing, a bonfire and some hiking at hocking hills. Everything you need is within a 15-20 minute drive. The driveway leading up to the cabin is very steep, so I would recommend not bringing a small car as it will be hard to get it up there. I would definitely stay here again! :)

Peaceful Cabin
We enjoyed our stay at nine pines. We had about a 20/25 minute drive to Hocking Hills State Park. Cell reception can be an issue so make sure you have your maps/directions downloaded or printed before you leave the cabin.
We had an 8, 6, and 3 year old with us. Just up the road (maybe 2 miles away) was a Jelly Stone park that had day passes for $15. This was a great break between hiking days for our young family.
The property owner, Nick was very responsive and really wanted to make our stay enjoyable. He was great to work with!
