About this house rental
Located in McCall, this lovely house for $191 per night is a great option for your next break. This beautiful home has everything you will need to feel like a home away from home. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a nice quiet neighborhood! This nicely furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is located between Ponderosa State Park and the McCall Golf Course . Walk or ride your bikes on the numerous paths that are within a few hundred feet of this home. Master Suite has a king size bed, walk in closet, private bath and electric fireplace for added ambiance. Smart TV in Master Bedroom has a variety of options in addition to Roku TV. Guest bedroom #1 has full size bed and twin/twin bunk bed with lots of extra closet storage. Guest bedroom #2 has a queen sized bed in a rustic log theme. Both bathrooms are nicely furnished and will have everything you need from blow dryers to shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotions. Washer and dryer are included for the convenience of the renters. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities of a home plus some. Complete with granite counter tops and tile floor. Living room has a queen sofa sleeper, love seat, two recliner chairs, 65" Roku Smart TV and entertainment center. Plenty of options between Netflix, Roku, and Hulu for nightly entertainment. Although there are beds for 10, the City of McCall limits our guest to 8 and parking for three. Wi-fi is included. A closet of games for all ages of entertainment as well. Extra large dining room table seats 8 with counter/bar seating for 4. Extra seating for dining room available if you contact owner. Front of home has covered porch area surrounded by large pine trees. The rear of the home has a covered deck as well as another deck which is not covered for all entertainment needs. Gas grill is included on the back patio as well as comfortable seating around a gas fire pit table. Decorative lighting, table and chairs with solar lit umbrella, comfy chaise loungers are just a few of the outdoor amenities this wonderful home provides. Owner had previous VRBO in McCall which they sold when they purchased this home. Over 100 reviews with a 5 star rating on their previous property as they are very responsive and accommodating. Rate Calculator gives 15% discount for more than 7 night stay!! Contact owner for stays longer than a week. 1 night stays allowed during the summer months but not for Friday or Saturday nights, only allowed for Sunday - Thursday nights. For the protection of the guests, the owner has a security camera for the front of the home. The owner has the right to view the footage to confirm no pets are brought to the home and the number of guests. The owner has the right to charge extra for additional guests not included in the inquiry or additional cleaning if required.

The cabin is in a great location. Trying to locate the cabin from the road at night can be challenging. It is pitch black in that area which is great all of the time. The cabin was as advertised and was very cozy.

My family and I had a great stay here. We loved the location with a bike trail down the street into ponderosa and a short drive to town. The layout of the house was so nice and everything felt clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items. The beds were actually comfortable with soft bedding and a variety of pillows, definitely the best sleep I’ve had at any vacation home. Bathrooms were so spacious and clean. We definitely plan to stay here again! My only complaints were that there was only one extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom which wasn’t enough for our stay, there wasn’t extra paper towels either and we couldn’t keep the counters very clean because there wasn’t cleaning spray. The sponge could also use a refresh because it had a strong odor. Only pointing this out so the owners can consider providing these items or renters can be prepared. So minus these little things, the home is so cozy and great for families!

We were pleasantly surprised to see how big the house was! It was very clean upon arrival and had everything we needed, except for a few things in the kitchen like aluminum foil and ziploc bags. The location was amazing! Very close to Ponderosa and beach access. Our only complaint was the beds. The king bed was very bouncy and not meant for 2 people. My husband had to go sleep on the sofa sleeper because our movements were keeping each other awake. The bunk beds are metal and very squeaky. One of my kids slept on the full bed to avoid waking up the other kid. Overall a really nice house, but if you're picky about beds, then it may be uncomfortable.

The house was clean, comfy and as described, it was in a great location for the golf tournament to get to and from the course each day and night. The wheelchair accessibility was fine although a little tight on bathroom doorways - but was doable for my 28 inch wide chair. I had communicated with Cathy ahead of time on this to be prepared. The only con for the house was No AC during the two hot 90 degree days in McCall . It made the house miserable during the evening and for sleeping. The house inside hit temps of 86-88 in the evening. We knew the listing said no AC- but we didn’t realize it would be that hot in McCall even in July. Opening windows at night did not help much but we tried. The little fans (we brought 2 extra from home in addition to what was there) helped a bit in each room but was not enough. Swamp coolers or a few window AC units are definitely needed as it seems the summer temps are rising -even in a mountain town like McCall. We would definitely rent again due to the amazing location, one level / one step and wheelchair accessibility but would ❤️ some type of cooling mechanism down the road if that is ever considered as an upgrade to the home. This home is so neat, clean and well appointed. The bed was WONDERFUL, we slept so good. We sat out on the patio in the mornings and listened to the birds and watched beautiful deer. I highly recommend this home and working with Catalina was really nice. Thank you Catalina, for sharing your lovely home with us. We hope to come back!

The property was just as pictured. The location is just far enough out of town for peace quiet. Close to Ponderosa State Park and the lake. Owner is very responsive to requests. Overall had a great time.

This place was a great size we had 5 people and it was perfect. It was 5-10 minutes at most to get downtown. It was clean and a great open layout. It was exactly what we wanted.

Question.. didn’t know where to ask this. There is a shrub right in the front of the house right by the walkway…..on one’s “right”… it is poisonous to deer… looks like it had been pruned. Suggestion of may be a different plant. One of the beauties of that property is the wildlife surrounding it.

The house was immaculately clean and very comfortable! The kitchen had everything you need to cook including a great variety of spices and we loved the game closet. It’s a quick bike ride to Ponderosa State Park and 2 miles to downtown.

This house is in a great location, close to town, bars/restaurants yet still secluded. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved the layout of the house - master bedroom/bath on one side and the other bedrooms/bathroom on the other side. Also, the 2 recliners in the living room were very comfortable and the kitchen had all the cookware, etc. we needed. Very well maintained house with all the amenities we needed.

I looked and looked for a place suitable for my 96 year-old mother and her sisters. This place was just perfect. It has only two little stairs going in; everything else is on the same level. It is just a slice of perfection. You have everything you need here along with a beautiful and private outdoor space including a little fire place and BBQ. We all decided that we had no need to every look further. This will be our place. It also has a large enough living area that the relatives staying in another condo could come visit and eat with us. Look no further as this is the perfect place. AND, the hostess was amazing, kind and answered all of our questions.
