Enjoy this beautifully renovated and furnished 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment just steps to Ferry Beach and walking distance to Camp Ellis. Take a walk on Ferry Beach or stroll over to the famous Huot's Seafood Restaurant for lunch or dinner. Kitchen includes a new stove, refrigerator, double stainless sink with pull down sprayer faucet, stack-able washer dryer, microwave and counter tops. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishware, glassware and all your cooking needs. Living and dining area is open and airy with lots of natural sunlight with seating for up to four people. In addition, Dining table provides seating for up to four people. Bedroom includes a queen size bed with memory foam mattress and 6 drawers below for plenty of storage for clothes. Full size closet perfect for hanging clothes and includes a small ironing board and iron. Bathroom has a new expansive walk in shower, tile flooring, new sink and elongated comfort height toilet. Apartment is above a heated garage and includes a private entry way and mudroom along with a private outdoor area perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Outdoor area includes a patio, table and chairs with seating for up to four people, a new Webber Grill and grill utensils. There is parking for up to 2 vehicles at the property. Please note the main house on the property is a year round home.

The description of the property doesn’t give it justice… It was so perfect. Everything was spotless, and the furniture was cozy and comfortable. The location could not have been better… steps from the ocean. Thank you for making a little haven for us to enjoy.

Maine is my happy place & favorite place to go on vacation to. Melissa’s property stood out among all of the others that I searched. It’s in a great location close to the beach & general store. The apartment is beautifully done & so comfortable to stay in. And the grounds are beautiful & well kept as well. I very much enjoyed my stay there & would definitely rent again from them!

This property was perfect for our Fri-Sun late planning get-away. We spent a day in Portland and a day at the beach. The apartment was clean and cool and easy walking to beach, general store and Huot’s Restaurant. We would definitely re-book when returning to the area!

Beautiful spot for two! The apartment was quiet, clean, and updated. We really enjoyed the location, and of course the lovely beach.
Only suggestion is to add a sentence about beach access on the welcome note - easy to find but it would have been nice to have directions of where to walk!

Melissa and Colin were wonderful, helpful but never intrusive. Premises are clean, high quality linens, beautiful shower and kitchen. Everything was exactly as pictured. You can literally walk to Beaches, or drive within 5 minutes to others, for a change of scenery. Gardens are phenomenal and neighborhood felt safe and friendly. Quiet and wonderful stay!

Place was extremely clean, centrally located for us. Towns of Saco and Biddeford has a bunch of cool brew pubs. Well worth a stay …. We’ll be back when we return to Maine

The garage apartment is a hidden gem! Everything about it is first class! The bed and bedding, the towels, the living room and kitchen, everything is very nice. We felt comfortable and right at home. Melissa is a great host and completely accessible. When we travel, we generally stay in a VRBO and this is one of the nicest we have stayed in. Not only are the accommodations top notch, you are literally steps from the beach. During a very crowded summer season in Maine, the beach area by the home is nice and quiet. It is only a short drive north or south to take out, restaurants, grocery stores, just about anything one might need. I would highly recommend a stay with Melissa!

Attentive and gracious hosts. Very comfortable and clean apartment, all necessary amenities for a relaxing vacation. We came with 2 small dogs and the private patio area was perfect for them. 5 stars all around, we would definitely stay here again!

This is one of those reviews you really don’t want to write, because you’re afraid the secret will get out and you’ll never be able to get to go back.
It really is perfect. An amazing use of space and has everything you can imagine.
The location is perfect.
The only small thing, it might be nice to have a light over or closer to the kitchen table. But we easily made do.
We can’t wait to go back!

Perfect Labor Day getaway
What a great place. The pics don't do it enough justice! The apartment had everything we could have possibly needed for our 3 night stay. Incredibly clean, very well decorated and a super short walk to the beach. A 10 minute scenic drive to the town center of both Saco and Old Orchard beach. Bright, clean, welcoming property steps from the beach. Complete with washer dryer, full kitchen, and beautiful outdoor space with a grill. It's the perfect place for a couple or a small family. Highly recommend this property.

Loved it!
This property is definitely a hidden gem. Great location - little bit away from the hustle and bustle of Old Orchard Beach, but close enough to everything that nothing is a long drive. The rocks at the end of the street were awesome to sit on at night and have a drink and enjoy the water. We didn't walk down to the beach, but it did not look far. The apartment itself is compact, but such amazing use of the space. Full bedroom, full bath, great shower, plenty of room to sit and watch tv and cook a meal. My husband and I did not feel crowded at all. And the decor is wonderful, perfectly done for the space. Comfy bed, air conditioning, just really a wonderful space. And VERY clean! The pictures are accurate. Melissa was great to work with, very easygoing. We had to cut our trip short because there was a hurricane coming back at home, but I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend to anyone staying in the area! Thanks again for a great time!

Fantastic space with ocean views less than a block away. Modern and clean with hard floors and a large shower. The yard to the side was perfect for visiting family and enjoying the sounds of the water. The entrance wasn’t all that obvious in the night. I arrived after dark and wasn’t sure if I was trespassing until the keypad combo let me know it was right. If you plant to stay a few days, bring a broom and dustpan as you will inevitably track sand into the rooms, I didn’t see one anywhere while I was there. Overall, I would highly recommend this space!

It was so much fun!!!! And perfect for my daughter and I on our first trip to Maine. It was perfect location. Not near all the busyness of Old Orchard and really close to the airport. We will definitely stay here again.

This property was gorgeous and exactly how it was in the pictures! It was very clean, and everything provided made my stay super easy. The kitchenware and beach wagon were big perks I had not thought to bring! The area was very nice and each person I ran into was extremely friendly and welcoming. I felt very safe in the area and how the secure the apartment was itself. The beach was clean and an easy walking distance from the property. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and hopefully will have the opportunity to come back next year!
