Located in Bowral, this charming house for $241 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. I look forward to welcoming you to my property. A spacious lovely old world charm brick home, built in 1927. It has soaring 10'ft decorative ceilings, log fireplace in living room, timber floorboards throughout, modern kitchen with new appliances, oven, cooktop, microwave and traditional tiled bathroom all within 200m walk to Bowral local cafes, fashion shops and more. Golf is just a short 5minute drive to bowral golf course. Lovely charming victorian windows and lots of sunlight. Comfy and cosy for families and groups in winter with the log fire in the living rooms - great for toasting marshmallows (all local Service stations supply bags of wood, kindling and fire starters). * Please be assured that prior to every guest stay the home is professionally cleaned on entry and exit and all linen is laundered. We had a lovely time there- the bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable- the bathroom pretty basic and we seemed to find out quite late that there was no wifi which we found unusual. We still had a lovely time..

DO NOT STAY HERE. The house has been falsely misrepresented. I was travelling with my family and two children 5 years & 15 months.
The main problem was the fridge was broken. After spending $175 on food to arrive at the property with no working fridge was challenging. The host was very quick to make excuses & told me I needed to wait 2 hours for the fridge to cool as she keeps the fridge off.
Her solution was for me to go down to the petrol station and buy ice to keep my food cool. After waiting the 2 hours the fridge was still not working a handyman came to the house at 8:30pm for him to inform me I had to wait longer. I believe the host was already aware of this problem however, happily took my money at $440 a night plus for linen fee is truly appalling.
Enduring this broken fridge for 2 day & having to eat out for every meal my husband and I decided to check out of the property 2 nights earlier. Tanya agreed to refund us the two nights’ at $880 once we had left she retracted this and she decided ONLY a $400 refund would be more than adequate for the inconvenience & additional food expenses. With an overall additional expense of $1500 this is far from adequate.
Take this as a warning what you see if not what you get.

This property is not what it claims to be on the ad…. The house is very dirty- dusty, cobwebs, grime in bathroom and kitchen ( including crockery). Lack of provisions- no hairdryer, no coffee plunger, no internet, no bathroom supplies, threadbare towels. Dead plants everywhere in the garden. Would not recommend.

I love this type of period architecture. When I first this place, I thought I would like to live there, not just visit! It was a difficult to find as it is on the corner and seems to be actually number 82, not 80. When we found it and put the car away, we were delighted with the ambience and comfort provided. However, one of us used the bath. When emptying the bath, there seemed to be a wee rising flood that was managed by using the plug to stem the flow. Suggest the pipes might be old. Apart from that, all good. Close to shops and restaurants - it was very homey.

Loved the house- it’s a heritage property but I love a bit of character, cracks in the walls etc. don’t bother me. House was bigger than expected and in a great location an easy walk from the centre of Bowral. Only negative is that the wifi details provided on the booking confirmation were incorrect and one person in our group brought a laptop with the intention of working for an hour or two which she was unable to do. Tried to contact the owner on the mobile number provided with no response which was quite frustrating.

The house is warm, cosy and in a great location. The bedding was divine and beds comfy. Communication with Tanya was easy and friendly. If you’re planning on cooking meals, you’ll need to take supplies (oil etc), also your own firewood for the lovely fire.

Fantastic location! Central heating was great.
Wifi was not working. Website needs updating, eg photos of living room and some of the general information. However, it was very comfortable and we had all we needed and had a great time. Recommend it.

I'm not going to write everything I think here because I'm hopeful the owner will rectify things somehow but unfortunately our stay here was not comfortable and i wasn't sure i was in the right place when i saw what was in front of me in comparison to online... such a shame.

Stayed in this beautiful house full of character for 7 nights. It has everything anyone would need to have a comfortable stay there. Very close to the shops and cafes/restaurants in Bowral. Easy to communicate with the host. Would stay there again.

The property is centrally located in Bowral - close to shops etc. We were visiting to attend a wedding just outside Bowral so it was an ideal place to stay. Love the style of the house and furnishings. Simple but elegant.

Friends and I had a very relaxing stay in Casa Antica. The location was excellent, and the house very comfortable and clean. Tanya was very responsive to any questions we had.
