The view is incredible! Lovely front porches and private sun loungers. Very magical spot. Plus lots of friendly dogs hang to hang out on the beach with.
I arranged with the hotel to send a taxi to pick us up at the port however they didn’t come and we ended up paying triple what was originally quoted by the hotel to a driver at the port. The bathroom had a serious ant infestation and our room was very noisy - right next to the restaurant + road noise all night.

Stayed in beach front villa, was amazing being right by sea.
The room although beachfront was backed on to main road which made it quite noisy.

Such a well positioned cottage right on the beach.
The location was great and the view is stunning. There is a fun drift snorkel outside the resort.

1) The location is simply superb. The hotel is located right at the beach. You could directly step into the water. The views at sunrise and sunset are excellent.
2) They help with planning your excursions. I had informed them of the places I wanted to visit and they sent me a driver’s number. They also have their own drivers to pick up and drop off people to the port.
3) Their breakfast options are limited but good. Also, their restaurant serves really good food at reasonable prices.
1) We felt the staff behaviour was a little off from the day we arrived. I have read many reviews here saying that the staff was great and all, but somehow we didn’t seem to get the same treatment. Some of them were polite, but I felt some others were borderline rude. They seemed annoyed anytime we asked any questions. I had travelled to Bali for 15 days out of which I was at this hotel for 2. The behaviour here was vastly different from what we encountered in the rest of Bali. At other places they were very courteous. Not here though.
2) On our last day, when we were out, the housekeeping did not provide water bottles when they cleaned the room. When we raised that to the reception, they claimed that they had kept two water bottles there. They sent a guy who started arguing with us claiming the bottles had been kept. Thankfully, we had already purchased a bottle in the morning . The hotel in the end provided the said bottles, but the whole situation left a bad taste. Their accusatory behaviour made us very uncomfortable. There were literally no bottles in the room. Why would we lie?
We are paying quite a high price staying at their hotel. We are having lunches and dinners at their restaurant. We are not even haggling with their drivers over prices. Why on earth will we steal water bottles? After this incident, I kept my interactions to the minimum with the staff.
3) The washrooms were quite small.
