About this house rental
Situated in Surf City, this lovely house for $749 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Welcome to the beach!! You will feel right at home at the Sea Glass Cottage! On the ground level you will find two enclosed garages on either side of the foyer. On one side you have access to beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, games, beach cart, and plenty of storage. In the other garage is a pop-a-shot basketball game, foosball table and darts for some indoor fun. To the side of the garage is a large outdoor shower with great water pressure and adjustable temperature. There is also a cargo elevator to help bring your bags and groceries to the upper levels (not suitable for transporting people). On the first level you will find 4 spacious queen bedrooms, each with its own Roku TV and luxury bedding. There are two full bathrooms with large shower heads and bathtubs. Each bedroom on this floor has an ocean or a sound view. When you come up to the second level you will be thrilled with the incredible views from the open concept living area surrounded by bead board walls and coastal furnishings. A 75 inch flat screen is also in the living area with connected tv, and DVD player. The kitchen area is beautiful with white cabinets, black granite, and stainless appliances. A bar surrounds the kitchen with six barstools and a cottage table that also seats six. There is a laundry room off of the kitchen with large capacity high efficiency washer and dryer, along with a pantry. In the master suite, located off the main floor living area, you will find a king bed and enjoy the newly renovated spa like shower and walk in closet. On the third level you will be astonished by the ocean and sound views from your deck complete with chairs and lounge chair, perfect for tanning. There is a 50 inch flat screen and den area great for tv or video games. An Xbox 360 with games are set up for your enjoyment! Just off of this living area is a bedroom with two twin beds and full bath. Guests will be delighted with the beach access located in front of our cottage. The quiet street is perfect for family walks and biking. Beach bike rentals, surf boards and anything you may need are just around the block. Our cottage is within walking distance of a grocery store and incredible restaurants. Sea glass hunters and seashell seekers will be in heaven on this soft sand, expansive beach.

The Sea Glass Cottage was perfect for our family that gathered from around NC nd Tx. There were 5 couples so the king and 4 queens suited us. The young men grandsons rotated in and out of the suite on the third floor which had twins, bathroom and sitting room equipped with games. Since we had lots of cooks, both men and women, the well equipped kitchen was a dream. Last of all the view was spectacular even one row back. It was a wonderful week. Our homeowner was very prompt answering questions and concerns.

We loved our stay! The house is absolutely beautiful and has more than you could need for a week at the beach. Katie was so easy to get in touch with and responded very quickly. We will definitely be returning!
The only think that was a little difficult are the amount of stairs that my 72 year old mom had to climb!

The property definitely exceeded our expectations. We have been vacationing at Topsail for 50 years. The house was very clean and well maintained.
It was well beyond equipped. Beach towels, beach chairs, all kitchen appliances, linens, and fun games.
The only recommendation I have for the house is higher guardrails on the top level deck. The view is gorgeous from this level, but I would be uncomfortable with kids (small and big) around the guardrails.

This is probably our fourth year staying at this property for our summer family reunions and I love that it's well stocked in all the right ways that allows it to be very easy and light packing for a beach trip.

As a group of 10, this house was more than accommodating! Plenty of space and everyone had their own rooms. The amount of beach gear and towels provided was so helpful and took away a lot of the stress! (The Shibumi and beach wagon were a nice surprise). The location of the house is just feet from the beach access making it extremely easy to go to and from. There was more than enough space in the driveway for our four vehicles with still plenty of room for cornhole! After using the cargo elevator for loading/unloading all of our things between the levels…I’m not sure we could stay somewhere without one now! Cooking meals was very easy with the well-stocked kitchen and all of the right cookware/utensils. Katie was very accommodating and quick to respond. We will definitely be back!

We had a mixed group of family ranging from 3 years old to 85 years old. Everyone enjoyed their stay! Two things I would be sure you know: the “main” level is actually the third level and there are lots of stairs. This worked for us as the master bed/bath is on that level, so once the in their 80s grandparents were settled in they didn’t have to manage the stairs unless we left the house. The cargo elevator is a great help! The owner was informative and quick to respond via messaging. Beach views were great with chairs and decks on every level. Beach access was super easy. We took advantage of the outdoor shower to rinse the sand before returning inside. Plenty of items in the cabinets and fridge. We used some and left some. Easy access to everything. We did a Walmart pick up on our first day and filled our forgotten items and cravings at the IGA. Everyone agreed we would definitely book this home again!!
Recommendations for the area: I wouldn’t miss Maine Lobstah, Sears Landing and Topsail Steamers. All were within 5 minutes and had wonderful food and service. Visit the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue! Very affordable and great experience for all ages. Do your souvenirs shopping at Topsail Island Trading Company. Wonderful variety of items with something to fit in every budget. They also had a nice selection of local artisan items.

The house and location are lovely! Katie has considered so many conveniences - even the outdoor shower is equipped with shampoo/conditioner/soap! There were bath and beach towels, a well stocked kitchen with many items needed for baking, and an incredibly easy to follow e-guidebook. The house is literally across the street from the beach. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and the wagon provided made our visit seamless. We have vacationed in the Topsail/Surf City area for more than a decade. This house was one of the best we have stayed in!

Katie is a flexible and kind host; we enjoyed staying with her. The house is a sturdy older home with multiple levels which afforded quiet and privacy for our family. It is extremely well stocked and is one house away from the beach. We liked it so much that we are booking again.

Exceeded All Expectations
This home truly exceeded any expectations I had prior to rental. The views of the water and beach were better than I expected from every floor. The proximity to shops, restaurants and everything else means we never had to get back into our car after arrival. The home feels large, spacious and clean. There was nice bedding in each of the 6 bedrooms, the air conditioning worked very well with a separate thermostat on each floor, and there was good shower water pressure. This was the most well stocked vacation rental I have ever been in and included those little things you forget to bring with you (as an example, there were portable fans in each bedroom closet). Katie, the homeowner, was a pleasure to work with and extremely responsive. I cannot recommend this home enough.

Sea Glass Cottage was the perfect choice for our weekend getaway! This was definitely the best managed property I've ever rented. The house was spotless when we arrived. It's spacious, beautifully decorated and Katie has thought of literally everything to make her guests feel welcome. The views of the beach from the multiple porches were gorgeous. We were grateful to have the most amazing weather and spent every day on the beach. We even did yoga on the back deck! Will definitely be back next year! Overall, a great experience.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at your beautiful Beach Home. Everything was perfect, the location, the beach access right across the street and the view of ocean was spectacular! The wagon was great to load our beach chairs, umbrella and all our stuff in to head to the beach. My grandchildren loved the game room in the garage. The house was equipped with everything, no need to bring anything. We have never rented a home that had it all with no worries about anything! This home has it all. The owners were very quick to answer any questions or needs if needed. We will stay here again for sure. Thank you so much for allowing our family to stay in your beautiful Beach home!

The walk into the center of town for the many bars and restaurants that Surf City has to offer is about 5 minutes away. The morning walk to the bagel shop is even closer. We could not believe how clear the ocean water was, we thought we were in the Caribbean. It seems everyone but me finds sharks teeth at this beach, except this guy, but its fun looking. Nice beach chairs with a wagon are provided for your convenience, leave yours home. The homeowners turned one of the garages into a game room, with a basketball game, foosball table, and dart board. We wish the stay was longer, but we'll be back soon enough. Thanks again, Steve

Beautiful home across street from beach access
Very comfortable lovely home with ocean views, across street from beach access. The beach chair cart, many beach chairs, boogie boards and beach toys made trips to the beach easy and fun for the entire family. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook meals and had ample seating for our family of 12. There were many additional supplies and condiments. We really appreciated the Keurig coffee pot! Nice porches with beautiful views and comfortable seating. Katie was an awesome hostess, responded promptly and answered all of our questions and even made arrangements for us to check in early! I would highly recommend the Sea Glass Cottage!

Beach chairs were just like ours and boogie boards were higher quality ones. This is a Fabulous Vacation House which I highly recommend. The location is great! You can walk into the town/pier area easily for Lunch/Dinner/Shopping, but it is far enough away from the downtown where you don't feel crowded on the beach. The Views of the Ocean and beach from the house were great. Many time you can only see the water in the distance from a 2nd row home, but we could see our teenagers on the beach from the kitchen. The house has everything you could possibly need/want. The kitchen is stocked with anything and everything you could need and we didn't need to bring anything. The house was very clean and the beautifully decorated. We have been to going to various beached in NC/SC for 20 years and this is by the far the cleanest, best stocked, best located house we have every stayed in and while we like to try new places out each year we agreed we will be back to this one for sure!
