About this apartment rental
Villa Celeste, licence number ESL-1040K10003011801, sits in a unique, commanding position above Almyros Beach. This ground floor property offers views across Mirambelo Bay with a backdrop of the mountains of Kapsas and Orno. To the north lies the town of Agios Nikolaos within walking distance by coastal path. The inland view from the apartment garden reveals slopes of olive groves rising to the Katharo mountains. The accommodation offers two luxury double bedrooms both with ensuite, one bedroom has sea views. The large lounge offers a large sofa, dining table for six, fully equipped kitchen, with espresso machine, toaster, cafetiere, kettle, hob, oven, wide range of cooking utensils and luxury crockery, fridge with freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities are also provided. There is a large TV with satellite and DVD. Wifi throughout. Bath towels, toiletries, beach towels are all provided, as is a welcome pack which includes bread, a bottle of wine, butter, olive oil, a bottle of water, milk, a jar of jam and a bowl of fresh fruit. Outside the terrace offers a dining area with fabulous sea views, dining table for up to 6 people, a seating area with 2 recliners, 2 loungers and two sunbeds. The terrace area faces east and is fully open across the front with the fabulous bay view with a backdrop of mountains. To the south side the view encompasses the coast of the bay towards the villages of Almiros and Ammoudara. The panorama whether in the daytime when you can enjoy the sea view, the beach below, the mountains opposite isjust spellbinding, or at night the wide open starlit sky. To the west there is a fence with a gate to the covered car port and the long driveway beyond which more mountains are visible. The parking area is both private and secure.
The owners (2 people) live upstairs at the other end of the villa, with a separate terrace , not overlooking the holiday rental area.
In the garden around the Villa we feed some friendly cats that are not allowed indoors. We also have four small dogs which are kept away from the holiday apartment.

My husband spent 1 week at this lovely property in October. From our very first contact (a year in advance of our trip) through the weeks before our trip, Duncan was very responsive and very helpful in planning our arrival and local activities. The rental hosts live above the apartment - - yet you have complete privacy. We enjoyed Duncan and Elisabeth, so we periodically chatted with them around their property.
The view from the apartment and the terrace is magnificent. Beautiful sunrises and the peaceful sound of the waves made waking up and having a cup of coffee on the terrace absolutely wonderful. In addition to the terrace view, the hosts own the property / hill above the home which includes a fantastic garden (flowers, fruits, etc) and a 360 degree view! It takes your breath away. A few early evenings we walked up to a lovely sitting area with a cocktail and enjoyed the change in colors as the sun set.
The apartment is very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. We slept in the bedroom right off the terrace - - the mattress was very comfortable and the room itself was very quiet. The bathrooms are modern and spacious. We did not take the opportunity to cook during this week, but we made use of the kitchen for breakfast, packing lunches, and fixing our evening cocktails.
The owners have pets, but they were not a bother at all. We even grew a bit attached to Chloe, as we were missing our own cat.
We always walked to town - - however, we did decide to drive our car from the rental down to the nearby Almyros beach, park, and then walk to meet up with the beach path. The walk directly from the rental includes a stint on a very busy, fast-trafficked road with only a small path in the brush to connect it to the beach walk.
Duncan and Elisabeth are very nice and really want you to be able to relax and enjoy your stay - - which we thoroughly did. The rental is very well kept, with good access to Agio Nikolaos, and a good value - - - you won’t be disappointed with a stay here!

Am Morgen in der Sonne aufs Meer schauen oder abends den Tag mit dem Blick in die Weite im Mondlicht ausklingen lassen, das ist das absolute Highlight während des Aufenthalts im Haus von Marie-Paule und Duncan. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist genau so, wie auf dem Foto abgebildet. Zum Strand hinunter läuft man 10-15 Minuten den Berg hinunter oder fährt 2 Minuten mit dem Auto. Die Wohnung bietet zwei schöne Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad und einem Wohn-Esszimmer mit allem, was man braucht. Duncan und Marie-Paule sind super freundlich, sehr hilfreich und sehr diskret. Wir haben uns in den 10 Tagen mit unseren fast erwachsenen Kindern sehr wohl gefühlt!

We had an amazing experience at the villa Celeste. We wanted to thank Marie Paul and Duncan for their great hospitality. The view was fantastic and the rooms were clean and had air conditioning. Everything was perfect
