This Duplex is lovely and unique containing approx 1500 sq ft of living space, built in 1962. Renovated to feature modern living with stunning sunset views of Cheyenne Mountain and Pikes Peak from the large living room window. It contains 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. With a full kitchen, dining room, and bar serving area. Located 10 mins to local attractions which include, the Broadmoor, The Broadmoor World Arena, Fort Carson, Downtown Colorado Springs, Air Force Acadamy, and too much to list. You can expect a very comfortable, sanitary, professionally cleaned, and private living space while you visit Colorado Springs, Manitu Springs, Pikes Peak, Air Force Acadamy, and all the other local attractions and events. Relax in front of Colorado's famous front range sunsets viewable from the massive window in the living room. Enjoy frequent visits from the local wildlife and enjoy your morning sunrise coffee. A quiet park frequented by locals located directly across the street. Our home is in the perfect location, centrally and conveniently located 5-25 mins from the endless list of things to do in the surrounding Colorado Springs area. This space can accommodate small groups to larger groups and families of up to 10+ guests. Prices are competitive with anywhere else around, with the benefit of a comfortable and private space to relax and enjoy, without the expense of your wallet. Convenient location, near everything we need. Good response from host when needed. Check out time was 10:00 with a later flight, so no allowances were made, so we sat at the airport a few hours. Overall definitely meet our needs for location and space.

Upon arriving to the rental the house was 82 degrees. The listing states there is AC, but it is a window unit in the back bedroom. Which was not expected. After a few hours of having the unit run and circulating the cool air through the house with the box fans it was manageable to sleep. Our group had 2 infants that are both at the crawling stage. After only a little bit of letting them stretch their legs from the long car ride we had, we realized their legs were black from crawling around on the dirty floor. The listing states the unit is professionally cleaned, but it did not appear that way AT ALL! The floors and rugs were disgusting. We ended up having to make a trip to the store and purchasing cleaning supplies and washing the rugs. The mop head was black when we got it out to clean. So we had to clean it first and then it took a couple times mopping to get the floors better. It took 10+ Clorox wipes to get the coffee table in the living room to be clean. Overall all the surfaces (counters, table tops, etc) and floors were sticky. It made us very uncomfortable to walk around in the house barefoot, allow the kids to play, or to use the kitchen. There were a few other issues during our stay. Including the front porch lights being burnt out - making the steps outside a little dangerous at night. The fan and light in the dining room didn’t work, but was probably due to the remote batteries needing to be replaced. We tried to wash a load of towels and the dryer does not work well, it took 5 cycles in the dryer to get them dry. We found trash and socks under the beds. However, Dustin was responsive to our messages and concerns, and offered to reimburse our expenses for cleaning supplies. Not much else was done besides acknowledging our comments and concerns, but I don’t know that there is much else of a resolution. Overall, I wish we would have stayed somewhere else, especially since we had little kids. This would be a great rental if you’re not concerned about the cleanliness or not planning to be there much and if you have pets with you.

Clean and comfortable. Cool, scenic backyard with fire pit…just make sure to keep the noise down around the fire pit if you are using it past 8 pm…it is a quiet hour neighborhood, which is nice if that is what your are looking for.

Great View of the Mountains
This house was really a great place to stay. Very spacious for family. Great location. Wildlife in your backyard, (rabbits and deer). Dustin was great to deal with, he always answered you back instantly. I would stay here again if I come back to Colorado Springs.

Code for key was incorrect. Took about half hour to get correct code. Advertise sleeps 10 however there were 4 beds so two kids had to sleep on couch. Otherwise my family enjoyed there time spent together. That were satisfied.

This location is great but the property was not clean, the code to access the property was not correct and it was loud throughout the course of the evening from the apartment downstairs. To top it off, there were no additional sheets or blankets for the air mattress or couch and the floor mats in the bathrooms were dirty.Owner responsiveness to these concerns has been lacking to say the least. The lockbox didn’t work and we had to wait outside for 15 mins to be let in. It wasn’t clear that the property was a duplex until we had already booked and there were people staying below which was unsettling especially since I assumed we had the entire place to ourself. The owner gave us a long list of chores to accomplish before we left but charged a very steep cleaning fee which I thought was poor taste. I understand COVID has impacted businesses around the country but cleaning fees should represent the cost of cleaning up after a guest stays, it shouldn't be something owners use to try and squeeze out a few extra bucks. It was nice inside but there was terrible communication.

This is a great property - nice patio with fire pit. Great open floor plan. Comfy beds. Laundry. Nice mountain feel to it even though we did not get directly in the mountains as we initially were looking for. Responsive owner. Definitely recommend.
